WE WILL HAVE TO PAY 50 SILVER FOR EACH GEAR ITEM WE WANT TO TRANSMOG EVERYTIME?!?!?!
    THAT IS NONSENSE!!!!

  • Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

Yes, this makes no sense because i never have enough silver because i buy every rune in the shop because there is no other way to farm them, so i am always low on silver. But there are bigger issues in this game and i am happy that transmog at least is an option now. They should give us some better options to farm silver.

@yesin069 You can farm runes in Lunden form the beggars.

I dont like to use shady tactics like that. I want to do something of more substance to get runes and this technique also just gives the same rune over and over again. Just make the river raids give us silver and runes and people will play this mode even after getting all the armor.

    are you sure about that?
If this is true, that is outrageous.
I know in the Assassin's creed 2 , if you want to change the color of the clothes
you have to pay silver to dye the clothes
but that was 2009 , now is 2021.

@yesin069 Fair enough. I have not used that farm point either. I do have enough Silver I think 35k as I get 100 daily from re-assigning my JV.

It is written in the patchnotes that transmog costs 50 silver each time. So it will be costly if you transmog a whole set and also do it often...

It isnt that unusual for games with transmog to pay for it with ingame money. In Nioh 2 you also need to pay ingame money for it but those games have options to farm money. In Valhalla i put all my money in runes and ingots because there is no other way in farming them other than merchants.

Also the merchant system in this game is beyond stupid...Why the hell cant you buy arrows whenever you want? The merchants always just have 20 hunter arrows and just restock after you level up. Just let us buy arrows when we want arrows! It is annoying enough that we cant craft arrows and also dont get all arrows back that we used and looted (even with the skill).

I doubt UBI want us to buy the silver booster.
I know there are many way to farm money , no matter is a glitch or mini games
But I don't want relay on glitch because they will fix it as soon as they can.
Mini games, I'm not good at drinking for she drunk and I got Virtual reality sickness.
So It's seems if we want to change outfit, we have to buy the booster.
Of course , I'm not going to buy that, there are some other way to earn silver.
    It's just downgrade from Odyssey

Mini-games arent a farm method for silver because Ubisoft "fixed" it that we can get money from the drinking challenges. It just works one time now.

I also forgot about the silver booster. Now more people will buy this booster of course.

Yeah, it's a total downgrade from Odyssey! The only reason fathomable is so people will try and grind for more silver in River Raids or buy Silver Packs in the shop. It should be FREE and it's shameful that it is not. PLEASE RETHINK UBISOFT.

A few fish shot with arrows then sold or a few animals hunted and parts sold and you have a steady income of silver ... 50s is incredibly easy to make in this game. No glitches or mini games needed, just a bow and 20 mins and you can transmog a whole set 🙂

This is obviously designed to push silver sales in the store. Absolutely no reason for it to cost anything. Origins and Odyssey weren't this manipulative.

@gearsmonger That may be the case, but you can still do this easily without. 200-300 silver is easy to farm just by hunting and bow fishing. And unless you change your gear all the time, you only really need to do it the once. Just because they want you to buy silver doesn't mean you have to and in this case its not like its 500s per item.

i just saw the video about this, this really sux.

I wonder will we at least get a decent preview about how the new look will look or will we be charged 50 silver no matter what.

I really hate visiting the stables to change my mount and raven and now this. Feels like they want this game to a downgrade from Odyssey in every single way!

Aaaah okay. So taking advantage of you is alright as long as they don't make it -too- expensive. Maybe YOU only change your look once in a blue moon, that doesn't mean that's how everyone else does or should play. I can guarantee I won't be paying for silver- the fact that you have a grinding alternative doesn't justify the model.

I don't care if it's 1,000 silver or 1 silver, there's /no reason/ for it to cost anything. Especially when you look at the absolute freedom you had to do so in the last two games.

But I guess some people will settle for anything as long as it has the right brand name.

@gearsmonger No I'm just not entitled enough to see 50s as an issue when I never have any shortage of silver in this game, and I've never spent a penny on silver from the store. It really is a case of if you hate Ubisoft so much, stop buying the games. Every AC game its the same, yet people still buy the next. Try not looking for a problem and find a solution instead. You'll enjoy life more. And I'm not a fanboy, I'm just a realist who doesn't look for problems in every single patch.

"I'm not a fanboy" he says as he accepts arbitrary changes with no benefit and labels dissenters as 'entitled.' Swing and a miss, tiger.

I've found the solution: voice my objection on the forums which are moderate by staff who communicate with the development team. Would you prefer I code the game myself as an acceptable solution? It's a rather silly argument to suggest current disapproval of the company has been static across the past. Obviously that's not the case. And as I've mentioned elsewhere on the forums, this is the last AC game I'll be purchasing, barring a radical change to their development and business model. Thanks for that advice though XD

AC games introduce changes gradually, but if you're seriously trying to claim they're all the same, I recommend actually playing them some time.

You have to realize in real life no one will change the look of something for free. I hate the transmog system in Odyssey because 2 of the sets won't remain on when loading a save. I guarantee we will have issues with the transmog in Valhalla. My biggest issue with this game is the upgrading cost so much when you don't get enough Ores from breaking rocks. This game is a one time play anyways since I would rather have New Game Plus over the transmog. I am staying with Odyssey, I am even close to being done with Origins.

@gearsmonger Ok, I'm not even going to bother . You want someone to argue with and thats fine. I disagree with you and I've played every AC game. My issue is the fact that you are this worked up over 50s per transmog. Its hardly a major thing. Not seeing an issue with something does not make someone a fanboy. If a game makes you this unhappy, don't play it. Discussion over as I cannot be bothered arguing with an entitled kid who thinks the world or a company owes him stuff.
