Why not make some of the weekly challenges have to do with hunting/fishing to mix it up a bit instead of just kill X number of people with X weapon each week
Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

Because than Ubisoft needs to hire a trainee that writes those challenges down and adds numbers to them that we can realistically achieve...
Those challenges feel like a Ubisoft guy written them down while drinking a coffee in his pause 5 minutes before this feature went live. There a maybe over 100 possible challenges they could easily add every day but funny challenges would be a good thing for us to do and in reality they dont want us to get those Opals...better buy those microtransactions!
This is a simple marketing technique. Just give us the illusion that we can buy those fancy and costly gear sets with Opals but dont give us enough and (god forsake) dont make them fun because then people would engage in them every week. The community challenge numbers are choosen so high, so we will never achieve them. Who in the hell wants to play 27272727 Orlog games or do 2272228282 drinking challenges? Same with assassinations...It is very hard to clear forts just with assassinations because the enemies spot you from a mile away. I also dont want to switch my weapons because the inventory system is broken like hell. It just takes too long for me to find a specific weapon because there are no filters at all. I just play with Varins axe from start to now and dont care.
Fishing doesn't even work, some fishes don't spawn at all... and you want them to create challenges around that. Please stop giving them ideas, these challenges are already bad enough.
@dlmthree
Yes, I even forgot that most features are broken and would not work if they made them into weekly challenges. Try to hunt some black bears for instance. I think there are only two locations where they spawn in the entire game. I am still searching for dogs in this game and dont want to start talking about fish...
The only working things they could add are things like parry this amount of times or kill enemies with torches and stuff like that. This game is no Metal Gear Solid 5 where you have countless possibilities to engage in situations. As i said many times before now: This game isnt made for long-time support with endgame or weekly challanges. It is a singleplayer game (that should be a lot shorter) that should be played once and then put to the side - come back for story DLC and NG+ - This is it! No need in releasing new microtransactions gear sets every 3 weeks if there isnt any new content with it to play.
@wartooth1 Whatever it is, when devs are done with their current priority, they'll improve the whole weekly challenge system and other lacking aspects of the game. They are moving slow, yes, due to covid and all but they don't strike me as quitter.
@karlin
I totally understand that view of things but than Ubisoft should communicate that and push new content back to fix bugs first and get the main game finished, instead of putting more stuff in that breaks even more things. When you have the time and ressources to release new microtransaction gear sets, than you should have even more time and ressourses to fix bigger problems with this game!
I would have no problem at all if Ubisoft takes that long for fixes and new content because of Covid but when it comes to microtransactions they are even faster than with past AC titles in releasing new ones. Sadly their priority seems to be microtransactions so they wont get any compassion from my side until they stop microtransactions until they got their stuff together and figured out a plan to fix this game first and how to get new content in with every new gear set that they want us to buy. Easy as that!
