SOLVED! (kinda) I had to glitch my way through the shelf. I have no video so will do my best to explain.

First I set the graphics preset to Low. (No idea if this is a factor.)
Then (with the breakable boxes out of the way) I dodge roll into the shelf.
I grabbed the shelf while pressing forward. Rapidly and repeatedly release and grab the shelf while pressing forward. Sometimes this will cause it to look like I am moving through the shelf in a 1st person POV.
Quickly release the shelf while in it and spam [open door button] to open the door behind it.
Repeat (meld into shelf then release) and dodge roll forward to get in.

@carmifele123 Reload your game, try again. I just had this issue and reloading my game worked for me.

do you really think that in a week (kinda) from posting this i didn't try closing and reopening the game? of course i did! it did absolutely nothing

Did not manage to phase though it but this did allow me to unstick the block. Followed the above directions using keyboard for about 7 or 8 minutes. On a whim, rather than spamming grab and release, I just tried to pull on it (admittedly in frustration). Low and behold the mass moved. I had just dodge rolled into it and grabbed it when this happened. Amidst the spamming I also heard an occasional click sound, as if I had activated something. This might be related to the objects release. Thanks for the advice.

I am having this issue as well. Reloading the game did not resolve the issue. I'm not sure what normal behavior is, but it looks like the obstacle is wedged inside the wall.

look at this. the scaffolding is not actually touching the floor, but the little "platform" most doors,including this one have

So using another door for reference:



Game thinks that the obstacle is in the red area and not in the green one. in theory we could move it across the red area.....but it's too small to be of any use.

Thank you. while it did help and the curiosity came straight from your post i investigated a little and think i have figured out what the problem actually is,but have no fix for it yet

I have the same problem still too.

as the title said, ive tried reloadingbut the movable stack that blocks the entrance to the room with the gear can be grabbed but can't be moved. apparently theres a mentor gear piece behind it, the only gear im actually interested in acquiring so thats really annoying

Ok so I have a way to bypass this. Put your graphics settings on low and cap your frames at 60fps(this part is very important) and then grab the shelf hold the s key or just hold the back direction on controller and rapidly enter and exit grabbing the shelf the shelf will become dislodged and you can now move it, it only takes a few seconds. I just did this like not even 5 mins ago.

La verdad, estoy muy molesto por este tema. ¿Cuándo lo van a solucionar, cuando haya terminado el juego y ya no me importe?

Además, ¡me piden que les describa el problema como si lo desconocieran! Muchísima gente se está quejando por lo mismo. Al igual que el glich en la anomalía de Noruega. 

¡Valhalla no le llega ni a los zapatos a Odyssey! Es más aburrido que una clase de Historia y visualmente no es tan interesante a menos que lo pongas a ultra definición. ¡¡Menos que eso y los personajes son NARANJAS!!

I have had the same problem almost a month ago ... I wrote many times to technical support and they still did not give me a solution.

The truth is, I am very upset about this issue. When are they going to fix it, when the game is over and I don't care anymore?

Also, they ask me to describe the problem as if they were unaware! Lots of people are complaining about the same thing. Like the glich in the Norwegian anomaly.

Valhalla doesn't even fit Odyssey's shoes! It is more boring than a history class and visually it is not that interesting unless you put it in ultra definition. Less than that and the characters are ORANGE !!

The pice is in Seint Lewinna’s Church in Guildford, Suthsexe. I saw a yt vid on how to get it and i cant seem to move the big crate that is blocking the door and that is after destroying the smaller crates infront. Can any one please help. I think I could be a bug but what do I know
