@ubi-borealis @ubiexcellent @ubisoft @ubi-Whoever.... take this out of your resolved category because now y’all are false advertising, don’t stoop down lower then you guys already have. Take this out of the resolved category and FIX this bug foreal. [RESOLVED] lol take that tag off

@ubi-borealis tried this three times doesn’t work... It’s definitely not fixed. Maybe on this next big update coming up? I would really like to complete the main story even if it’s 5 months after I paid full price for the game...

Thank you for continuing to update this thread since the hot-fix was deployed. I'm sorry to hear that some of you have still been unable to interact with Soma at the end of "Glory Regained." To clarify, this interaction should happen during the stage "Regroup with Soma."
If you are still unable to interact with Soma after following the steps provided in my earlier post, please be assured that the development team are working on a more permanent fix to be deployed with a future update. Once we have more information on this update, it will be shared within the forums.
@NickEMaggz - I'm sorry to hear that you're still unable to proceed after the release of the hot-fix. In future, please avoid tagging support agents within multiple posts, as this kind of spamming behaviour goes against our forum rules. let me be clear with you, regardless of forum rules you and other developers have failed to give us any solid Info and kept us in the dark with avoiding statements such as a “future update” and “depends on the severity of the case” for the last 5 months. So I won’t feel bad for posting multiple representatives because obviously you guys are really unreliable and give false statements.
now this “hot fix” didn’t do anything because yes all of us are stuck in the part in regroup with soma in front of the long house and I’ve seen by gameplay that the door is supposed to open and trigger a fight with a boss or something, and some of us for the last 5 months have tried to trigger something to happen by throwing items/bodies at soma or etc.. and because of that some of us don’t have soma even standing in the original position that she was in in the first place.
so again I say to you that hot fix was probably not even for the right part of the mission because you can see that the hot fix didn’t work for anybody.
FIX the game die we can proceed to finishing the game, literally I have 40% of game completed and that’s just off of collecting everything and doing everything I could mission wise. That means I got 60% of main story left to complete and I can’t because you developers have failed miserably on this broken game and lack of liability for customers support. I mean I would understand some compensation at this point of 5 months but noooo we just have to wait on very empty promises. -

I would like to clarify that I am not a member of the development team. Myself, as well as other agents you will see within the Player Support forum, are player support agents. We are unable to share unconfirmed details from the investigations, such as details regarding fixes or providing ETAs when there are none. Once we have any new information to share from the investigation, we try our best to update you all as soon as we're able to.
I have reached out to the development team to let them know that we have received reports that the hot-fix has not resolved this issue for players. I apologise for any disappointment that has been caused by this.
As mentioned in my earlier post, the development team are hoping to implement a more permanent fix for this issue in a future update. Once we have more information about this update, it will be shared in this thread and within the News & Announcements forum.Official Response -
Hello all!
I apologise for the double post. Following the announcement of TU 1.2.0, the two following issues have been marked as resolved by the development team:Addressed an issue in Glory Regained that prevented players from proceeding with the quest after reaching the "Regroup with Soma" objective.
This update is due to be deployed 16 March, 2021 at 1PM CET/8AM EDT. You can read the patch notes and learn more here.
If the issue still persists for you following the deployment of TU 1.2.0, please can you provide us with a video that shows the following:- You have TU 1.2.0 installed. You can check this in the title menu in the bottom right-hand corner.
- That you are unable to proceed after reaching the "Regroup with Soma" objective.
If you are unable to interact with Soma in Island of Eels after reaching the objective "Regroup with Soma's clan," please be assured that the development team are still investigating this issue further. They hope to resolve this in a future update. We currently don't have a definite ETA for this. Once we have more information to share from this investigation, it will be posted within the forums.

@ubi-borealis My game is still bugged. Still cant "Speak to Soma" at the long house in Grantebridge. Problem NOT resolved. I tried just about everything at this point. Frustration or anger wouldnt describe it at this point. Like a lot of us on this thread, i have been an avid fan of this series from day 1. I guess ive been lucky as i havent had any issues in the past with any of the series. The fact that THE MAJOR STORYLINE has been bugged since last November is mind boggling to me. I have literally done everything in the game possible outside of finishing the main story line. Its ridiculous. Its almost laughable at this point. I get you guys are just the messengers, but your messengers for a trash company who clearly has little to no respect for their consumers. Ive officially given up hope on this actually ever being resolved and im moving on. Probably the last time ill purchase a Ubisoft product. Save the apologies or empathy about my experience. Fix the game, Its actually quite simple, FIX THE GAME. We dont need more trash quality updates like river raids and festivals. Sure, at least those have given me more to do in the game, but ive basically beat everything in the game i can, collected all wealth possible, etc, etc, and i cant finish the main story line, its a joke. Best of luck to those hoping this gets resolved.

I apologise for the delayed response. I'm sorry to hear that you're still unable to speak with Soma. Can you let me know if this issue has been resolved following TU 1.2.1?
If you are still unable to interact with Soma, please can you send us a video that shows the following:- You have TU 1.2.1 installed on your platform. You can view this information in the bottom-right of your main game menu.
- You're still unable to interact with Soma in "Glory Regained."
