Can't change runes on armor or weapons (PC)

After the latest patch, in the Inventory whenever I click on a piece of armor or a weapon, and press centre mouse button (Runes), I'm navigated to the Details page, instead of being allowed to unequip old Runes / equip new ones.
This only started happening after the latest patch. It always worked correctly before. -

Thank you for bringing this to our attention! Have you tried to change your keybindings in order to check if this issue is related to the specific button, by any chance?
Additionally, can you please verify your game files with this link? It will help you to repair any corrupted files and eliminate minor issues.

Thanks for the advice. I've verified the game files, but unfortunately nothing changed and trying to select Runes on armor or weapons still takes me to the Details page instead.
I can't change the middle mouse keybind for selecting Runes inside the Inventory menu: there's no place in the Options menus to do that.
The only keybinding I have on the middle mouse button in the Options menus is Lock Target, which is the default keybinding.
Also, I haven't touched any of the keybindings since initial game setup many months ago. -

No peripherals apart from the usual keyboard, mouse, monitor.

- Click middle mouse button (Runes, but opens Details page)
- Esc back to inventory
- Hover on weapon
- Click middle mouse button (Runes, but opens Details page)
- Esc back to inventory

Thanks for the reply. I followed the linked instructions and did a clean boot.
Unfortunately, the middle-mouse-opening-Details problem was still exactly the same afterwards. -

So, what do I do to actually open a ticket for this bug, since none of the solutions have affected it and it's still a problem?
