This was in the new patch notes saying that it was fixed and it still has not been fixed...the dialogue between Maximilian and the child is still looping and there still is no key to open the door please fix this the right way!!

I am unsure if this has already been reported but for me after returning to Lunden with the new patch installed Maximillian is still being distracted around the corner by the child, however, Odin sight shows a key marker but the key spawns on the stool thus no pick up option displays., and I still can not shot the barred door with any of the three bow types.

@rutger1504 Hello! First, I apologize for the inconvenience and frustration that these problems have caused you. Second, what platform are you playing Valhalla on? As stated here in the 1.1.0 patch notes, an issue with the Rivalry for the Ages quest should have been addressed.

Even after the recent patch 1.1.0 was installed, I still can’t see or interact with a key to the house for the “A Rivalry for the Ages” quest.

@djfunkymeat Yep, the Raven tags the key as being on the stool, but it is physically not there.

After the update 1.1.0 the key still missing...

So I have paid the little girl to distract Maximus, I see the key icon but no mater what I do there is not key on the little stool. It’s never the there for me. I looked it up on YouTube and it’s suppose to be there but never is for me. Not sure what to do. I have tried several times completing more mission and main story but the results are still the same. I guess it’s just a ghost key me.
Should have taken Maximus head and been done with it haha

I cant complete the mission a rivalry for ages the ages mission as the key does not appear i play on xbox x i have tried to log out and back in but nothing seems to work

@ugobananas Thanks! Used the little girl before bug but was able to use “charm” dialogue to get it after Compass completion reset. Added bonus of not having to hear “One has a chin thick as a brick” anymore!

Concur. Bug still present. Cannot open the back door by any of the suggested means elsewhere in the forums - Valkyrie Dive on door, use of two two-handed axes, etc. In addition, the child distraction continues to loop without reset despite completion of other quests and key is not present on stool outside shop.
