Is there any way to disable the complete map pack?
Its ok to use to check items missed but it completely clutters the map screen and ruins the gameplay experience.
Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

Hey @CaptainVee! I've moved your thread into the General Discussions section as your post is phrased more like feedback, as opposed to reporting an issue with the complete map pack.
The description of the complete map pack itself in the Animus Store is as follows:
Adds a new map filter that reveals the locations of all Unique Gear Chests, Abilities, Territory Artifacts, and Opal Ores.
Once each item is discovered and looted, you should find that the icons themselves disappear, and your map will become less crowded.
I believe this feedback was passed on before by a colleague of mine, so I will get in touch with the development team to let them know you would like to see the same type of toggle option for the functionality of the complete map pack, and see if there is any news regarding whether such a toggle will be implemented or not. I will say however that the icons appearing on the map is the intended functionality of the complete map pack, so I cannot promise any changes.
Thanks!

THIS got me into a dilemma. It's nice to be given prompts to collect ovals, but NOT ALWAYS. Sometimes I just wanna roam around maps and those oval icons would bug me out. But other times it would be nice to have some motivation to roam the map...
@ubi-woofer I would also like them to implement this option. The pack was nice for the first play through, but for future play throughs it becomes an annoyance, especially since the map pack was actually a waste since it is possible to find everything on the map with the bird.
Hey all,
I've received a reply from the developers with regard to this feedback. At this time, a toggle/option to disable the complete map pack is not something they are pursuing, nor plan to pursue. This is because - as I said in my previous post - it is the intended purpose of the complete map pack to make all of the icons appear on the map.
Should this change, or if it becomes an option in the future, I'll do my best to return here and let you all know! But for now, I'm afraid a purchase of the complete map pack means that your map is permanently uncovered, as described. Thank you.
@ubi-woofer May I suggest that it would be great to make the filters that we apply to the map persistent? It is kind of a drag to apply the same filter (to hide the community pictures, in my case) every single time I play the game. It works that way in Immortals Fenyx Rising, by the way, so it should not be that difficult.
Just to clarify @hroozenbeek, you mean you would like the map filters, when applied, to be saved between gameplay sessions?
If so, I can certainly put that suggestion forward if it hasn't already been done. I can't promise that the change will be implemented, but if it does happen, I'll try to let you know! Thanks.
@ubi-woofer Yes, that is what I mean. And thank you for putting the suggestion forward!
@ubi-woofer And can I return the complete pack map? I started my game few days and I didn't know how exploration and map works. It ruins the gameplay experience, too.
@ubi-woofer Alternative, can we get a toggle to turn off map icons regardless of map pack status? The map is absolutely too cluttered as is. Having the game pointing me to every single thing that can be found obliterates any semblance of discovery and excitement. It would be great to have the option to not have my hand held.
