the "The Path of Wind Blue" mission is in trouble, there are no enemies in Soham hideout, so it is not possible to complete the mission

  • Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

    Hello there!

I'd like to reach out to you all with an update. I'm happy to announce that the development team intend to deploy a fix for "The Path of Wind Blue" in TU 1.2.2. This update will be deployed 15 June, 2021 at 2 PM CEST / 8 AM ET.

If you are still encountering issues with "The Path of the Wind Blue" following TU 1.2.2, please don't hesitate to update this thread so we can take a closer look. Please include a video that shows the following:

    • You have the latest Title Update installed on your platform. You can view this information in the opening game menu in the bottom right-hand corner.
    • That the issue continues to persists in-game following this update.

Additionally, please ensure that you have an up-to-date save uploaded to the cloud. We can then pass these reports to the development team for further investigation.

    Thank you! 😊

I am attempting to complete the mystery titled Path to the Wind-Blue in Grantebridgescire, however I have already gone to the quest location and murdered all of the enemies in Soham Hideout.

Does anyone know if the enemies respawn after some time? I have returned several hours later (3-4 Hrs) and still no enemies.... restarting the game doesn't seem to work either.

So I can either replay the entire game to this point or wait for patch no?

Mystery Quest where you lead a guy up to Soham hideout by lighting braziers in Grantebridgescire is not able to progress past crossing the water. Soham hideout has already been cleared.

Found one guy outside soham, hiding, that was tied to the location, mystery completed.

    Encountered the bug too....
    same as you described:
already raided Soham Hideout before i encountered this world event. followed the blind man along the path, lit the braziers, crossed the river with him, got ambushed by two enemies and then nothing.
there is no enemy left alive

@datgermans I have overcome this now. After going back to Sohams Hideout I discovered nothing (as per usual)

I thought screw it and fast travelled from soham back to home base, saved the game and went to bed.

Next day I went straight back there (didn't fast travel at all) and started the mystery again and what do I find? A load of enemies to skewer.

I am unsure if a combination of fast travel and no fast travel helped? I had already tried restarting and reloading saves before. Basically my issue is resolved but might be a fluke...

    @jonofdeath
did as you suggested and after another 15 minutes of searching the area i found that last damn enemy on a different island....
Don't know if it was because of what you suggested or because I ran around on my horse constantly whistling like some deranged psycho...

I previously cleared Soham Hideout before starting this event. When I reached it during this event it spawned a few more enemies. These were killed which should have ended the quest but it did not. I saw a few reddit posts about stragglers on nearby islands so I spent 30min clearing all bordering islands, and then going back and double checking them. Still event will not finish.

Started the mystery in Grantebridgescire where you lead a blind man to Soham Hideout.
Died in the process of trying to clear the hideout.
Then when restarted from checkpoint I cleared the hideout, but didn't get the completion notification on the mystery.
What's worse is that the NPC is still following me wherever I go which makes things quite annoying.
The only early load I can pick to fix this issue is way back when Eivor first gets to England.

@darkstormws I have the same issue. I cannot find enemies on any surrounding islands. I've gone up 50 levels and returned again; still the same issue.

@datgermans Well son of a gun...Apparently all I had to do was post here, then take one more trip around doing a grid search pattern and finally found one enemy not even close to the camp. Killed him in 1 second then ran/swam all the way back to the empty enemy camp and the guy let me speak to him to complete the quest.

I have it completed now, but Ubisoft should definitely adjust something to make this quest not such a pain in the butt. Combined with multiple things I probably spent 1-2 hours trying to figure things out. I have every setting on the hardest difficulty, so maybe on the easy exploration it helps find the guys quicker, not sure, but if they're no where near the darn camp it shouldn't count against you. As long as everyone in the camp is dead that should be good enough, or at least the whole island. Oh well.

So I've followed the blind guy, lit all the beacons crossed the river and I got ambushed by two guys killed them and then there is no one left to kill as I had raided this camp earlier.

I've read a few threads with people having the same issue who eventually found one enemy still alive somewhere random, but I've searched the area top to bottom for like two hours and found noone.

Any ideas? I've also loaded saves, fast traveled, slept in my bed and came back nothing worked.

@datgermans thanks for the tip, “my” last enemy was just chilling in the water neaby... I did kill all his buddies and torched down the hideout bur it didn’t bother him one bit... after three days, this nightmare is over

@aquantictaco I'm having this same issue🙄 I've tried returning to the location multiple times but the enemies never respawn

    @aquantictaco
Same problem here, I've read that people have managed to find a single enemy way outside the area, that, once killed, allows them to go back and complete but I've searched for hours, even coming back after spending 10+ hours away and still haven't found anything to kill. Super frustrating and I'm kinda annoyed that this isn't marked as a known issue yet.

@mogar328 Any chance you can post a screenshot of where the missing guy was, I've searched for hours and for what feels like miles around the hideout and I just can't find anyone.

@bushbomb1 Any chance you can tell me how big of a grid you used to search? Feels like I've searched half of Grantebridgescire by now...

The last guy is hiding on the island just to the NE of the hideout. He's behind a rock.
