Chest keys in River Raids

I am currently playing River Raids in Valhalla. Yesterday I raided several small settlements like small camps on Rivers Exe and Dee. These locations had 1 to 2 small locked chests that required a key. I searched and searched using Odin's sight but could not find a key to open them. Is anyone having this problem. No, these are locations I have not raided before. Thanks for any input.

@trickphilbert They spawn randomly around the map. They should show up as white areas when you use odins sight. I have the same trouble finding them, and I wonder why keys dont spawn where they are needed. Some places you need 2, but there are zero in that place.

It seems the river raid keys can be used on every locked chest in every river raid. But you can only use them once. I like they can not always be found on the same locations as the chests. I presume this is by design, which is not bad in my opinion. The can be found on a lot of places, so in the end you can open all chests. But maybe not in 1 run.
