@jamois1014 One other thing I just spotted - the ropes that sometimes connect perches are invisible as well. You can use them, but you don’t know they exist unless you go for it and risk plummeting into a bunch of enemies.

Having the same issue, around 40 hours in, all grass, bushes, tress (disappear within a short radius of me) tents and ropes can also not be seen..Nightmare.. Playing on PS4 pro - Any ideas on fixes as game is unplayable.??

I feel sry for you guys, hopefully I dont have this bug (yet) but I stopped playing this "game" because Ubi doesnt even care of the state of their game and their customers, yes Ubi we paid for this crap.

Last Ubi game that I buy. Next will be cracked that s for sure !!! And yes i will downlaod cracked games because you suck at Ubi, you dont deserve any more of my money.

Same issue for me, I’m playing on PS4 pro and even after the 1.04 patch it was fixed for a few quests but then when I fast traveled everything started disappearing around Eivor again. It first started after the stench of Treachery quest for me. All grass, tree leaves, bushes, fabric awnings, wall foliage, and ropes to walk-on/slide down. Very annoying, and it makes stealth super hard.

All the grass, bushes, and trees disappear within a 2-3 meter radius of evior. I cant see ration bushes and cant collect rations. Its basically unplayable, I cant do any stealth play and I cant pickup some items like keys and mushrooms. Come on ubisoft, you had so many people hyped about this game and it's just one hiccup after another. I paid alot of money for a game I cant even play.......

Hi there- Same issue for me. I'm on PS4, using the disc (not downloaded). I've been playing for about 30 hours, then got to Lunden and this started happening when I began looking for ***POSSIBLE SPOILER:***

Fast traveled elsewhere, reconfigured visual settings, restarted game, rebooted entire PS4, nothing fixed it.

I was looking forward to playing this weekend but this glitch just made the game unplayable for me (was hoping the new patch would fix it).

After the update the tall grass disappears when you walk into it, and the bushes that have raspberries are gone. You can only see the trunk of the plant. No berries or leaves. The only indication you have that they’re there is the white dot on the plant. You maintain stealth while in the tall grass but the grass itself is invisible. There’s no way of telling when you’re about to step out of it.

Same bug here after 50 hours textures of grass and bushes they just vanish when u walk on them. Started in Lunden area, I think the mission with the leach. I play PS4 and patch 1.04. And before it happened
When i wanted to enter Lunden gate the game froze 2 times

Having the same issue, started in Lunden (55 hours in). Fast travelled, reloaded saves, etc. Nothing has fixed it.


This issue really needs to be addressed ASAP because the game is near unplayable with it.

I could be wrong, but exactly like a couple of the other users in this thread, this issue started during the Bleeding the Leech quest.

I’m playing on a PS5 and am getting this issue now too. It happened about 55 hours in after finishing the quest Brewing Rebellion in Oxenefordscire.

I tried changing settings and also reinstalling the game and the bug persists.

I’m playing on a PS5, am about 55 hours in and all of the sudden I’m having issues with plants disappearing around me. As Eivor moves, all bushes, grass and leaves disappear in a radius of several meters. It’s making stealth gameplay impossible. It happened in Oxenefordscire after finishing the Brewing Rebellions quest. I’ve tried restarting the game, changing settings, and even deleted the game files and reinstalled and the error persists.

Has anyone found a workaround or fix yet? I would like to play the game I paid (pre-ordered) for.

Hello this bug happened to me 76 hours in. In Gloucestershire at the thieves Warren just north of Gloucester. I’ve tried restarting the game and messing with the HUD, and video settings but nothing works. I’m really paranoid of reinstalling the game and losing all my saved progress to corruption so I’d rather not do that. Please update the game, this is rendering issue that should be easy to sort out

I had this same issue on ps5, that just started 10 minutes ago. A restart of the console fixed the issue for me.
