Hi,

I reached Chapter 4 of the Essexe story line, my current objective was to "Follow Birstan" at the time but he has since bugged and disappeared off the map.

I have tried many things to fix it, such as selecting a different area to pledge and then going back to Essexe, but the bug persists.

I have since abandoned Essexe and moved on to other parts of the game, every so often going back and checking if the bug has fixed itself, but no success. The quest subtext is empty and there is no market on the world map whenever I have it selected, see photos below.

Glowecestreshire - Chapter 2 - Clues and Riddles, same bug, I have no map marker and no info.
I had just been told about 'Cudd Lladron' by the druid. Pretty sad that 2 of my regions are now completely locked out of completion, meaning I can't complete the game...

I have a beug quest on chapter 4 in Essex, "Twists and turns" where you have to follow Birstan, the problem is that it is he who follows me and I therefore do not know where to go to validate this quest. This is the sequel to his wife's kidnapping ... At least just tell me or go like that he will follow me ....

So I managed to complete Essexe by finding a video of someone doing the quest and copying what they were doing, stumbled across the NPC in a field which triggered the quest.

I tried doing the same for Glowecestreshire, however, after talking to the druid and learning about Cudd Lladron, you're supposed to complete Part 2 (Clues and Riddles) and activate Part 3 (The Stolen King), but this event does not trigger.

Please any fix?

Bump, I have completed all pledges except Glowecestreshire now..

@rivalkobra any updates or did you figure out how to fix? Haven’t played in a couple of days because I can not progress!

I was lucky with the Essexe one that you could progress it by finding the NPC, but Glowecestreshire is properly stuck as you can't find the next NPC to advance because the next NPC doesn't spawn until Chapter 3 is triggered

@rivalkobra yikes! I’ve literally not been playing for two days and it is getting harder and harder to avoid going to YouTube to watch what happens in the game.

I have tried reloading from an earlier point, leaving and then returning to the location and I can’t progress.

@npadme yup same... pretty disappointing cause it's literally a gamebreaking bug that's not really receiving any attention or response, so no idea when it'll get fixed..

I've literally done everything else in the game and can't complete the main story and find out who the final guy in The Order is cause I can't complete this one bugged area haha, sad.

@rivalkobra so I tried another order of things that I hope helps! I went back to an earlier save (the beginning gif the mission when you are at the home). When talking with the woman, I told her I was wanted for murder. I just went through everything and it worked!

Then again I had tried to go go back and fix it four times!

Ridiculous that that's the only viable solution in a £50~ AAA game.

Hello, I have a problem with Birstan in the Twist of the story mission where I am supposed to go hunting wild boar. The problem is that Birstan measures up in the middle of the road in front of the rock and the space in which that network is located. I still have a task to follow him, although the videos I watched should show at this point that mine should be to shoot 5 boars with him. Birstan did not respond to any knockdown attempts to go, and when provoked, he began to fight them before stopping again. Currently dealing with this buggy quest line. I am at the part where you hunt boars with Birstan. He never leads me to boars and his dog never spawns. We go through the dialogue and a follow him back to town where I get attacked by his soldiers.

I have tried reloading and unfortunately my previous manual save is to far back.
