I'm running into this bug that right when I talk to Tyrd?? the game throws me back to the bench in the middle of the cut scene, after that I am frozen, he comes back and sits down on the bench and I remain frozen as he just sits and stares. I can't access anything or do anything. I will not restart my whole game- I have put 20+ hours in already and I'm not up for starting all over. Is there anyone else who knows what else to do here or am I screwed till a patch comes along

ok you guys idk really if you guys do check this often but i just tried something and worked for me i had to change the graphic to the maximum "Ultra high" and of course the game does auto restart after and right after I went through continue etc... blah blah skipped the scene and went right into the fight I really hope this helps and work with you guys so you enjoy your game.
I know it might not make sense but that how it worked for me !!.

I have a problem with the mission where i need to bind Fenrir with the rope , i speak with Tyr and the animation bug's out the moment the cinematic should start , Evior i just stand n place and cant do nothing only go ESC is working i can only go back to starting screen or options

Hi, there is a problem with the mission "Blinding Fate", the player finishes talking with tyr, an animation is made and the player returns to his position being completely frozen. No key works, only G, N and Esc. It is not possible to move or do any additional action.

Assassin's Creed Valhalla v1.0.2 - PC - 19/11/2020

Before I defeat a Fenrir, as you know, I have to talk with Tyr. But I have a serious problem that. After I talk him, A Fenrir doesn't appear(Scene does not contined) and I(Havi) can not even move! I can only control my view. No attack, No move, No horse, No raven... It only works ESC and Tab button. I load my save files many times, but the outcome is same every times. How can I continue this part? (I'm sorry about my poor English)

Solution:

Some players were able to continue setting up ultra graphics first, then restart the game and rerun the mission. Graphics settings can be changed back. Also recommend setting the game to full screen if windowed / borderless and limiting the FPS to 60.

In the quest Binding Fate, I get stuck in the cutscene. After the cutscene is supposed to end, Eivor just stands there, and I am unable to move or do anything. The pause menu suggests that the cutscene is still running. This has me unable to progress the game at all and is more than a little frustrating. I came across a similar bug earlier in the game and was able to get past it by fiddling with graphics settings, but the fix is not working this time around.

The bug is still there, I am running on ulta high setting, so changing to the same settings does nothing. I have change the setting to the lowest and ran through the cut scene, same results. Changed it back to ulta high, same thing. And this is AFTER the patch 1.0.4. This is the last Assassin's Creed game I buy. I problem was identified over two weeks ago, and a patch came out, with no fix for this. More of Ubisoft just taking our money with no care for the game at all. This Assassin's Creed has all the same problems that plagued Black Flag and then Odyssey. Maybe another publisher will take over Assassin's Creed from Ubisoft. Its clear at this point that Ubisoft just cares about get your money and nothing else.

I can't advance in the game because of the Binding Fate glitch that occurs. Once the cutscene for the mission ends, my character automatically moves backwards and once the camera is back to focusing on me, I can't move at all. Please fix this!

I've just encountered this bug as well, I can only move the camera, menu acts like it's still a cutscene.

The game glitches after I speak with Tyr. It doesn’t allow me to move. After they start walking the camera is fixed and Eivor rebounds to where they were standing. I can move the camera and access the menu but that is all.

I have restarted my computer, the game, left Asgard and come back and the problem remains the same!

@xnxkq7 I'm having what sounds like the same issue.

I've completed all other quests/side-quests in asguard and (other dream area). Idk if it's because I did all the side quests, all the 'stones' from both areas/dreams were collected before trying to start the fight.

Are you stuck standing at the spot you talk to Tyr?

And are the only options available the (down d-pad) menu with the only option to pull out fishing line, and to go back main menu or exit game? Like the cutscene never ended?

It's been over a week since I got that far. And still no sign of it in patch notes.

There's a workaround that worked for me. Change your graphics settings to ultra (when you get stuck) and then let the game restart itself.
