@hidden1ne my fox is missing for months now, but there's more important issues /bugs to be addressed so I guess is gone forever.
neither my fox or my wolf have reappeared at any point. Wolf was in longhouse for ages, then started being just outside the door then departed completely to the woods on the west after I built Swanburrows House, far as I can tell Fox has either never been there or is singularly good at being invisible.
Is there any update on when we can expect the fix? I see its been at least mentioned that the devs are working on it, but that was in April
Hello there!
@HIDDEN1NE - Thank you for reaching out to us with an update! I'm glad to hear that Dandy and Dwolfg are appearing more in your settlement after completing "A Brewing Storm."
@Garbo3 & @gentester - I'd like to assure you both that the development team have been investigating the disappearance of our canine friends, and that they intend to release a fix for this issue in a future update. We don't yet have a confirmed ETA for when this update will be deployed. As soon as we have more information to share about future updates, these will be posted within this thread and in the News & Announcements forum.
Thank you
Hello there!
I'd like to reach out to you all with an update. I'm happy to announce that the development team intend to deploy a fix for our missing pets in TU 1.2.2. This update will be deployed 15 June, 2021 at 2 PM CEST / 8 AM ET.
If you are still encountering issues with Dandy or Chewie/Dwolfg/Mouse following TU 1.2.2, please don't hesitate to update this thread so we can take a closer look. Please include a video that shows the following:
Additionally, please ensure that you have an up-to-date save uploaded to the cloud. We can then pass these reports to the development team for further investigation.
Thank you!
I am happy to report that Dandelion made an appearance yesterday, but I still can't locate Mouse
He used to hover around Eivor's bed or in the Gathering Hall and I don't hear the howl either
I got Dandy back, but now the wolf went awol , I get one back and the other leaves lol
My wolf is still there in bedroom, but I didn't found Dandelion ....
Note : I still don't have built his chicken farm
Hello there, fellow Assassins/Vikings!! Okay, so I have long wondered why I haven't seen Dandelion Puff at Ravensthorpe after competing the associated world mystery in Oxfordshire months ago. So today I traveled back to the location of that mystery in the hopes that I either find Dandelion Puff again or unglitch the mystery. Lo and behold, the woman in the mystery was still sitting on the ground waving her arm in the air, and the house is still on fire. She doesn't say anything, and I couldn't interact with her. I went into the house, but no sign of our beloved little fox. So I decided to ride my horse back to Ravensthorpe instead of fast travelling. Much to my surprise, I saw Dandelion Puff there!! I know it was him because he has the green dot over his head. He ran to the back of the settlement into the woods. It was so cool to see him again!! As a test, I went back to the Oxfordshire location one more time, and this time the lady was gone. So I'm thinking it was some sort of glitch. I hope this helps anyone who is having the same problem. Much like the white cat who lives on my longship, I really wanted Dandelion Puff to have a new home at Ravensthorpe.
Very strangely, the fox seems to have disappeared from my Settlement again. Right after patch 1.2.2 was installed I saw it near the dock, but then I played offline and it was gone again. Hope that the fox has just moved to somewhere else within the Settlement.
Hello there!
I'm sorry to hear that some of you are still missing Dandelion and/or Chewie/Dwolfg/Mouse. If you're still unable to locate either of them in Ravensthorpe, would you be able to capture a video that they aren't in the settlement? You should be able to check using Odin's Sight, as both Dandy and Chewie/Dwolfg/Mouse will show up in blue highlight with a dot above their heads.
I know that our wolf friend likes to hang around the longhouse, and I was able to find Dandy in my own game around Reda's shop and the settlement tree. I'd recommend checking out these places first, though you might find them in other spots around Ravensthorpe.
We can then report their disappearance to the development team, who can take a closer look at why they haven't yet returned to the settlement for you.
Thanks!
@ubi-borealis,
Dandy was sleeping just outside the Longhouse and then ran off and came back to Eivor
Mouse is nowhere to be found even with Odin's Sight - I looked well beyond the Ravensthorpe bounderies
I am in the same boat as many others in that Dandelion Puff is there now, but Chewie is missing.
My wolf is next to the docks where we can start our river raids but my fox only appeared after my first login with 1.2.2. It can nowhere be found now
Interestingly in my friend's game Chewy and Dandelion are both present
Chewy is laying at the foot of Eivor's bed, and Dandelion is roaming around the blacksmith.
She updated her game to the latest patch, and if it makes any difference she owns the Drakkar Edition (retail)
I have the PS4 digital edition
Hello there,
Thanks for continuing to update this thread with updates about your missing furry friends.
@bitebug2003 - Thanks for sending us an image, and for letting us know more about your friend's experience as well. I've passed on your report to the development team so they can take a closer look into Mouse's disappearance.
@GhostAgent14 - I'm sorry to hear that you're missing Chewie. Would you be able to let me know where you've tried searching for them in Ravensthorpe? If possible, please would you be able to send us a video that shows you're able to find Dandy but no Chewie?
@m1au - I'm sorry to hear that Dandy has gone walkabout again following TU 1.2.2. Are you able to share any videos of your search within your settlement? This will be helpful for the ongoing investigation.
@Garbo3 - Thanks for updating us, and for letting us know you were able to find your wolf in the longhouse
Thanks!
