@mr-operator hello once again. First of all I am happy to hear you have found the fox outside of the settlement. I can confirm we've got reports from other players regarding this matter and the Game team is investigating.

The development team are still taking a closer look at why your canine companions have gone missing from Ravensthorpe. My wolf is still there but i miss the fox some weeks now. He was always around the big house. -

a "strange" Dandelion behaviour I noticed :
Before TU 1.4.0 = No dandelion at all
After TU 1.4.0 = Dandelion near a fire camp
= Green map area
After TU 1.4.1 = Dandelion = Orange map area, and few days later, also Red map area
After TU 1.4.1.2 = Dandelion = Red map area
it seems to moving away from Ravensthorpe at each update ...
Ravensthorpe level = 4,43 / 6

@ubi-gizmo Did they fix this bug with the pets in the June '22I think its 1.4.3 update? Haven't ever seen the fox in town after doing the quest. Did it pretty early in game when I only had two buildings in settlement. about 75 hours gameplay later still haven't seen it. Didn't show after last update. Wolf is fine, just got cat and it seems fine.
When I did the quest I fast traveled back to check for fox right after it ran off when Eivor offered to take it back there and it ran off. -

it may be in the Red area (not 100% sure in your case) : look at my post from January 22, 2022 in this thread,
I had to search it in the 3 areas I noticed, and since TU 1.4.1.2 mine is still in the Red area (more or less between Ragnarsonn Lookout and Animus Anomaly) -

We have not received any reports of this issue for quite sometime. However, after thorough investigation the development team has confirmed that they are unable to continue looking into a potential fix for this particular issue as they must focus on issues that have a comparatively higher impact on the gameplay experience.
I understand that this is not the outcome you were hoping for and can only apologise.
As the issue will no longer be investigated, I will now lock this thread and mark it as resolved.Official Response
