I absolutely hate the "multiplayer" aspect of this game. AC Valhalla is a single player game that tries very poorly to bring a pseudo-interaction between players. The player avenge quests are completely broken (thanks to this community I managed to complete that challenge and help out a few other players) but now my problem is the Jomviking system.
For some reason whenever I refresh the Jomvikings Hall (fully upgraded), it will only spawn Raiders in it which I assume are Jomvikings procedurally generated since they have no player tag attached to them and they all wear randomized outfits. Basically they all look horrible and vary between ranks 1-3.
To spawn actual player owned Jomvinkings I have to save on the hall and reload. Once loaded back into the game there will be a mix of Jomvikings and Raiders there. But then, every Jomviking is rank 1.
Assuming this gets fixed, even if working properly it still is a stupid and slow game mechanic in my opinion. Just let me have access to a list of Jomvikings instead of having to reload groups of five of them each time.
I know taste is subjective and each player should wear whatever gear they fancy. But that doesn't need to interfere in my game world. I don't want characters wearing those fantasy, over the top, cringe armors and weapons populating my hall. I'd much prefer to be able to pay 100 silver to create a new Jomviking even if only to a total of eight which is a full river raiding crew. I think it would be much better for me as the player to have full control over the customization of my crew instead of relying on luck to find someone else's Jomviking I like and hoping they don't change it to something I dislike later.
Creating my own crew also means I'd be able to level them all up myself and even give each Jomviking a "role" based on the outfit and weapons I give them.
By roles I mean something akin to the heroes in For Honor (Raider, Warlord, Berserker, Valkyrie, Highlander, Shaman, Jormungandr). Obviously this is just an example and I know that the roles would be just aesthetic and not influence gameplay.
Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

@jameslogan491 I don't mind the multiplayer aspects of the game IF done right. But I agree we should be able to create our own crew, with the option to hire as well. We already have a crew, not sure why we have to have a separate one for river raids or why river raids needed a separate map. Plenty of room on that massive map. Odd choice by the design team.
I hate it when I hire a good looking JV only to find her later with a bucket on her head in my roster.
And it's annoying you have to dismiss all your JV anyway because they don't level up.
And why can I only customize 4 of my normal crew and not the full 8?
