Assassin's creed valhalla is the worst game out of them all, origins was the best, then odyssey was made better, but valhalla is terrible. The combat is slow and clumsy and clunky with absolutely no technique. The story is boring tedious and predictable. The qests are repetitive and boring. The gear and perks are absolutely useless and have no real impact on builds, the abilities are dull and unimpressive. And the dlc is trash, river raids? [censored] is that? Nothing i want to do, and the worst thing about it all is the rewards, so not worth it, I don't care nothing about customizing a stupid ship and settlement with only like 5 choices. I hate vikings and I hate this lazy overrated game yall call an assassin's creed game. The next dlc need to be better than the game with more mythology and other creatures and more abilities and powers. Smh ubisoft should be ashamed of themselves for this game.
Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

Why on earth did you buy it if you hate vikings? We all knew for a long time that it would be viking themed. Complaining about that is just ridiculous, Ubi can't be blamed because you bought a game with a theme you hate. That's entirely on you.
Besides, River Raids isn't DLC, it's free contents for everyone.
Next time, do some research before you buy, instead of whining about stuff which shouldn't come as a surprise to you. The info was literally everywhere months before release.
More creatures, mythology? Powers?
You're playing the wrong series bud. Try again.
@netspook bro everyone knew it was gonna be a viking theme, but I didn't expect it to be the worst ubisoft or worst viking theme game ever built. This game is truly awful so don't try and defend or praise it like they actually deserve it after this atrocity.
@wastelandstag dude have you even played the dlc on some of them? Jesus are you this asinine? Odyssey alone had an Atlantis theme and Medusa, the minotaur, Greek mythology, abstergo in general in Greek times whit a rock that can power Leonidas spear? Did you really miss this? Imbecile
true waste of time money and energy new playthrough and wanted to do side quests first but thank you for another great stupid event
might uninstall this pile of
@lj4mma it's a really good game, i enjoyed the story, the combat is really cool and mythological things are really interesting and fun.. one of the best AC games IMO and i played all of them
I must agree in a way. The game itself may not be build as bad but people need to stop calling this an AC game. This is not assassins creed, this is vikings. Ubisoft is [censored] up the franchise by simply making money and putting ac title in it. I've played every ac game and the more they make the less ac it is and Valhalla is proof..
@anglas38 make a new series alltogether in the same universe as ac, but with ac from here on out being only about assassins vs templars. im in!
@lj4mma so the reason why i as well as millions of other players enjoyed it all the way through is only because of the hype train and that we cant make our own decisions but only follow what advertisers tell us?? I...I understand where ur coming from that everyone is crazy for liking it, because this is exactly how i feel about no mans sky, but this game i actually do enjoy and i still play
After playing assassins creed Odyssey soory to say i will not play Valhalla even if is free.
@carlos1998484
it's definitely a good game,
but there are details that I don't like:
the blow to the head rarely kills,
there is no guaranteed assassination, so it totally ruins my stealth experience
luckily in Valhalla they solved ..
@lj4mma You do have valid points but I played a lot of it anyway and there are some fun things about it. I probably won't finish this though. It's like you said, low rewards, clumsy, and clunky -- Odyssey was absolutely excellent. How could they go backward? Hmmmmm..... Seige of Paris has good points but as I go thru final battle and now Dodo who is a level 333! Drains all stamina at beginning so no powers, he has body shield, and he can rush you to low health while you can't even get your sword out! Yeah, that's a lot of fun.... Well, I found a previouly manual save and know I'll probably play something else at this point.
I think we can all agree that while AC Valhalla isn't terrible, it's also not as good as it could have been. Compared to the last two titles (which I loved, Origins especially), it's obvious Valhalla took a step backwards in a lot of areas. What I probably hate the most is the excuses some people make regarding stealth, e.g. Eivor is a viking and for that reason alone stealth is impossible. It's a cop out and one I'm certain most long time AC fans will agree with if we're all being completely honest.
That being said, I do try to cut the developers some slack. When the pandemic hit, the scheduling of pretty much every single business entity in existence was thrown into chaos, particularly for those whom work in the field of entertainment. People found themselves having to resort to alternative means of communicating which, lets face it, isn't nearly as efficient as everyone gathering together under one roof where they can see first hand what their fellow employees are up to, share ideas and make plans on the fly. As great as conferencing software is, it simply cannot compare to the kind of intensive, hands on working environment they were all no doubt used to.
So yeah, even though the devs have made a lot of questionable decisions regarding gameplay, the fact that it could have used another year in development and probably should have, and even though it has a lot of annoying bugs and glitches, I'm still enjoying myself in spite of it all. Hopefully it will improve over time as they gradually patch things up.
PS: I almost forgot! The one thing they definitely did get right? The graphics which are amazing! I especially love seeing a facial expression during a cutscene and understanding exactly what the character is thinking. It's a means of communicating that goes beyond speech, transcends it in fact by being universal to humanity. It has never really been used in games like this before, at least not to this effect. Pretty impressive when you think about it and really adds to the immersion factor for me. Hats off to the team responsible for handling that!
Not the worst game because of vikings... I love vikings because I'm genetically descended from vikings, but for me who started playing the AC series with Odyssey and then played Origins, IMO Valhalla is the worst of the three because of the number of bugs, the horrible looking gear, and the p.c. nature they've gone with. A viking character being penalized for killing civilians... really?!? There's so much that isn't historically correct, but I felt the same with Odyssey and them having a female lead there too; which if anyone knows history knows that wouldn't have been at all possible. I'm not a fan of historical games that throw modern concepts, ideals and morals into the mix... but I DO love that the "settings" have been historically realistic. Just my thoughts on the topic.
@gvo872 already did, asked for my money back still waiting for an answer. It was not the product that was promised, right from the start. Could not move, falling through the map or flying of the map, suicidal enemies, crashes(many more but got tired). For the case of refund they say its "2 HOURS" on the store page. Here is my issue with that, as long as the product in question has guarantee(in other words, resumes to receive "service/support") and you have receipt as a customer, refund is possible(unless there is a customer mistake to be found, but that goes for pyhsical products). PC(download). Just want my money back, wont visit the forums or talk like this anywhere after that, just want nothing to do with this game.
