How can I upgrade my ship for the river raids?

I know you can only carry 200 supplies when you start the river raids but how do I upgrade the ship to carry more when the upgrade is 450?

have you not played the tutorial of the game? here it is explained and it says so in the codex too. Then there is also tons of videos about this on youtube?
I am sorry but i just wonder how many ppl even complete games as these when they cant even be bothered to read up into game mechanics... -
@asgardian02 There is no way to upgrade the ship when the ship can only hold 200 and you need 450 to upgrade. There is nothing in the codex about that

exit the raid, then start another new raid with an empty hull, meahwile your cargo is being stared back in ravensthorpe.
Its not hard.
rinse and repeat a few times and upgrade your cargo, then upgrade once more.
in truth there is no purpose to do these RR other then to keep you busy, its super lazy content
