I've started the quest Reaver of the South then changed who I wanted to align with. Upon going back to Reaver of the South I have no quest marker where I'm supposed to speak with Basim. I see him in the house but cannot interact with him. This is the quest before you go of to kill scouts. I'm going to continue playing but I have no more story quests available. Thank you.

Hey so I'm loving the this game but the mission "reaver of the south" won't load for me i haven't been able to play the story inget very frustrated can yoi please help me

@ubi-spud hello my username is Lord Stark53 and I have tried everything to start the mission "reaver of the south" and it won't let me I have selected on the alliance map and it won't pop up as a location on my map I youtubed it and went to wear im supposed to go and am standing in front of basim while my mission says talk to basim and nothing is happening this has really upset as I spent a lot of money on the game with store purchases and this is ruining my weekend I can't even play my game fix this now or I'm demanding a refund so help me get this is bull@#$% when I buy a game I expect it to work bugs are fine but a bug that doesn't let me continue the story i mean get it together this is ridiculous

So I am doing the suthsexe quest arc and I have to meet up with basim. Unfortunately when I select the quest from my quest tab when I exit the menu portion it doesn't keep it pinned and give me a location marker.i know that I am supposed to meet him in croindene. So when I physically go to croindene and find him I cannot interact with him or progress in the story.therefore I am unable to progress with the main story and it is gamebreaking. Please if anyone can help id appreciate it.

I have even gone and done vinland and lunden after experiencing the game breaking glitch and tried to go back to suthsexe later to see if it becomes doable and it is still not letting me progress.

Its been a [censored] week and I have been cucked and [censored] by ubisoft I can't continue my game "reaver of the south" will not work they are aware of the issue and nothing has been done since last Monday you sold a broken game and won't give me my money back this [censored] so many things about this game took massive leaps back way worse than odyssey everything's buggie you can't get the best armor until you beat the whole assassin's story line like [censored] whats the point of having the best armor and no one meaningful to fight there is no connection with the assassin's story its dryer than old bread and I can't even play my game im [censored] and heartbroken because I love assains creed they really [censored] this up its fun but not when it's so broken I CANT PLAY THE [censored] MAIN STORY TO [censored] SAVE SIGURD GOD DAMN IT NEVER SEEN A GAMES WHOLE MAIN STORY HAULTED BECAUSE OF A BUG SHAME ON YOU UBISOFT SHAME

In the Reported Issue Megathreads I don't see a mention of this bug and I fear that they are not even looking into it. Now I'm stuck and can't progress with the story.

After the mission “Reaver of the south” I can no longer see or speak to soma but her speak bubble still appears, I can’t continue with the story without talking to her. I’ve tried loading from previous saved where she is still visible but she disappears at the same mission. I’ve also tried exiting the game, re downloading and fast travelling but nothing seems to work

Just started the quest “reaver of the south”. I come into the longhouse and no cutscene triggers, and I don’t have any prompts to do anything for the mission. It just has the mission name in the top left with nothing else. Game breaking bug, can’t progress through story now. 50 hours in and I’m very annoyed.

I haven't found a fix. Did you shut your game off too during the cutscene? I'm nervous also since it hasn't made it to the updated list of problems yet. I'll keep you posted on any news I get. I'm also discussing it with ubisoft support.

@techma817 No I just accepted the mission from Randvi and no marker appeared on the map.
Yeah I'm nervous too, I checked it and it is not on the list, I fear that they are not even looking into it. Anyways thanks for the reply and thanks in advance for any news that may come!

Hi, I have a problem with the "Reaver of south" quest in Suthexe. After the talk with Ranvi, I have to find and speak to Basim but I don't see a marker on the map. Basim is in Croidene but nothing happens when I come to him. I'm stuck and can't go with main fabular line
