Interesting I'll admit, but why do I have no Raven or Horse if I want to scout between outposts? also is it me or are the enemies like really really observant? I peek over a wall with a bow to snipe and they all seem to immediately know they are being watched.

i play on drnegr setting but i was lvl546 and all enemies where white for me

@asgardian02 546? you mean including the mastery points? I'm like 403 + 170 mastery, and in the open world they are no challenge at all.

at least there is something to do while we are waiting for first expansion to come out

so it's not bad at all and .... for players who likes to collect and loot .

I also hope that there will be a new game + soon, even before first dlc

I have a better feeling now while playing the game. I only miss the good quests like in odessey...

@fo0fight3r oh its Interesting, as usual I just question some of the decisions, still not sure why Eivor didn't bring her Raven with her, lol. I could really use the scout bird.

@guest-rhriuvsj The River Raid maps aren't completely open like the main maps in the game. So, in England, you can send Synin up, & travel 100's of metres away (I'm sure I sent it off on a journey of more than 1000 metres). When it reaches an Animus Wall, you first get a warning, & if you carry on, then Synin's flight comes to an abrupt end, & you're back looking at the world from Eivor's perspective! But in the RR maps, they're not as open. It's a series of corridors, with Animus Walls all over the place. It would probably be more hassle to send it up & try to navigate these corridors without hitting a wall. also the horse, at a gallop, or canter would hit the same problem, but worse, because Eivor would be more susceptible to desynch. And that would annoy players more than not having these features at all. I don't love it, but the RR mode is just meant to be explored by boat. Take your chances on where to raid. Use ESP to guess where keys are, before you hit sites with chests requiring a key. But no key on the site. The next raid location has a key, but you travel back to previous site. And it's burnt out of course! And the chest reduced to ash!

riverraid are unlimited sure, but after 6-8 hours max you should be able to complete everything and then why on earth whould you continue to go there??

Those 6-8hours spend to complete everything where super boring and annoying.

This "great" mod was probably made by any external team and devs forgot to meniton them:
1) we already have big beautiful map with lot suitable places for raids
2) we already have ship usable during raids
3) we already have jomsviking crew, which help us during raids
4) don´t forget to add raven
5) don´t forget to add horse

So many wasted potential

From my point of view, this addon should name: Play as viking MEDIC

And the goal of all "highly replayable" games (raids) is to keep this band of idiots alive....really fun

So I just got like 10 River Raid keys... on the same river... did I lose them on the way back? Why can't I use them when I get back to the location?

Also, I just found one key on Severn... and I CAN'T use it on two chests in the same location....

@guest-rhriuvsj I just didn't see the need to make them on a separate map. Why not just make it feel more organic and have respawning monestaries, military camps and villages on the maps we already have.

Oh and the alert level goes up with each attack that could be part of why they are ready for you.

@asgardian02 when u get the st george armour set completed, if u go back to your settlement, vagn tell you, they may be other equipments hidden there that they haavent acknowledge, so i believe more free armours are coming.. wonder when, also the river raids map, looks bigger, they may add more zones to raid, wish they improved them, because i kind of didnt like them... wish those rivers raids where in main england, it would be better there, u will want to explored more england, and also raid for materials or silver... they should give an % of chance of gettings certain materialss like tungsten, or a % chance of getting big chunks of silver... i dont know, something more needed..

or maybe they in the future add a % of chance of getting helix store items, during raids....

@karloz1995 oh Im totally expecting more to be added probably sooner rather than later. there's far too much copy pasting with assets in the RR for it not to be on the top of their to do list.

so far I find it amusing and I love the challenge level when they are expecting you. but the loot is very weak. I mean why am I getting minor runes at over 500 power? at the minimum I think there should be a flat silver reward for completing a raid. maybe a tally screen on completion, like # of locations raided x50 silver. # of resource chests opened. # of keys found. etc.

my plan at the moment is to casually complete all areas available this week, and buy all the available loot, then see if anything is added next week when the rewards reset
