River Raids Unable to open Sails

While Raiding along the river exe i lost the ability to open the sail of my ship and i also can't use the booster anymore.
The mast is up and i cann see the ropes but they are translucent/nearly invisible and the sail is down folded up at the bottop of my drakkar -
