Unsolved River Raid Update

Hello I just want to ask if the raids will be playble anytime, or its just time exclusive like festival.
And also one bonus question, will be there any one handed swords ? Or even if developers think about them, cos I cant understand how devs can miss one of the most used weapon that time to add in game.

Not only has the same question been asked multiple times now, but also could you have found out yourself by reading the actual patch notes.. -
The game mode is NOT time limited. So it is permanent and free for everyone.
But do note that the Jackdaw ship skin are time-limited for 1 week and can be obtained by connecting to Ubisoft Connect and claiming the weekly challenges reward. -

Also, I playing Valhalla again and had the all festival rewards clamed, its on all saves (account) or only at the one I clamed it ? -

Given that the rewards were for completing various things in the festival (and not linked to Ubisoft connect or store), those gear pieces and weapons will only be available on the save file you completed the festival missions and activities on. -

@flyankle Rather than post a new topic, I am just going to second yours (and others') criticisms that the devs not including one-handed swords, which as many have stated is literally the most commonly used weapon of the time, is absolutely ludicrous.
Yet they include a flail, something not invented until the 13th century and designed for use against heavily armoured opponents in plate mail.
Really enjoyable game, yet really questionable choices at times.
Who doesn't want to use a sword in an RPG? Seriously.
