@braga_assassin lol same my dude I just saw him and had to talk to him cause I was wondering what he was doing there. He talked to me like he was going to give me a quest but those where the lines he was suppose to give me after I talked to moria first. Now he just sits there with the quest icon above head.

I have read after many failed attempts to complete the Lost Glory mission that players should have not spoken to Halfdan before starting the actual mission. A little to late for as I did while completing territories for the achievement. Now I am stuff when meeting Halfdan in Picheringa I am unable to speak to him.

Anyone know of a work around or if there is a planned fix to this in a patch?

After visiting moira in jorvik im then advised to go to picheringa to find halfdan and unfortunately despite finding him again it will not allow me to interact or move the quest line on any further.
I have completed every other arc in the game and need only finish this quest to have 100% completion yet cannot do it.
I have sent other players suffering from this same issue and had been advised to load a save game from before finding halfdan originally. Unfortunately for me I do not have the ability to do so. I would hate to think there is nothing that can be done to fix this bug, and have to restart a completely new game in order to complete the storyline completely.

I spoke to Halfdan without speaking to Moira without realizing who it was. I now cannot complete the quest Lost Glore because he will not talk to me again.

@kenpachi2069 i got the same thing... i was 100% eurvicscire and spoke to him by accident.. now i cant talk to him again..

I have run into a bug in the side quest Lost Glory. Before I started the quest I already discovered halfdan was in Picheringa. So i talked to him and he gave me the text of the quest. When I returned to the town after starting the quest. I wasn’t able to talk to him anymore because he already spoke his text. The quest won’t let me proceed further and I can’t finish it. Reloading another save file would mean losing 10+ hours of game play.. any advice?

Well latest update did not solve the problem unfortunately.... I have 190 Hours in that saved game and haven't been able to play for over 2 weeks just because this is the last stupid quest line I have to do in this game.
Guess i'm just gonna remove the game and never look back.

@playdankbowls I've got exactly the same issue and the last save I have now from before I spoke to Halfdan wipes over 10 hours of gameplay so that isn't happening

I have the same issue exactly. Talked to Halfdan in Picheringa hours ago(before starting the quest) and now that I began the Lost Glory quest, I can't talk to him anymore.
I was hoping that this issue would be fixed with the latest game update but it's not fixed yet. I'm happy to share my save file if it helps.

If you have the quest Lost Glory, but talk to Halfdan in Picheringa BEFORE going to Jorvik, you will end up getting hardstuck on the second part of the quest (talk to Halfdan in Picheringa) as you no longer will be able to talk to him.

Alot of people have this problem. And still its not fixed. I cant go back to an old save game becauee I will lose alooooot of hours and gameplay. Just not an option.

Now I cannot finish the missions and the order..

It's December 26th you guys have had this bug for quite a while now I think you should have had some kind of resolution on this by now If the game is this broken it shouldn't have been released. Where I have the problem with lost glory as I do the quest I get all the way to the end Yes for me to go up and light the brazer to let everybody know I light it I hear him down there talking and then nothing I see the quest name still up in the upper left hand corner of the screen and it doesn't complete and I can't continue on with the storyline. I don't want to compare this to cyberpunk 2077 but their game was so bad they started issuing refunds I'm starting to wonder if this is the same kind of case.

When will we see a fix for this bug? I'm 80hours in and can't complete Lost Glory due not being able to speak to Halfdan "bug".

All of us are not going to be happy since we will not be able to do the holiday event you worked so hard on till I am sure we can have the progress saved. Please fix this I want to do the events to get the event gear..

Hi all, I know it's super frustrating. I wanted to update you all that I have been told by support that the dev team is aware of the issue and are working on a fix for it. No indication of any kind of timeline though.

@levorion stuck here. Has anyone found a workaround?

I raised a ticket to see if that would do anything.

You would hope with enough noise on the forums it gets sorted soon.
