Can't talk to Halfdan on the lost glory mission!

any news on this? i am losing interest in the game because of it

I have the same issue and looking through the patch that is coming today it's not in there either.

The Quest "Lost Glory" seems to be bugged.
I have to "Find and speak to Halfdan" who is located in the town of Picheringa (Eurvicscire)
At the moment I'm unable to speak to Halfdan because I have already spoken to him when I was exploring the map. (before I started this quest chain.)
Any solution for this problem by any chance?

Has been, at least for me, since the Yuletide patch.

Cant get Halfdan to give me the quest (because I spoke to him before being told to). I started a thread for the Xbox as well

@ubiwan How do I send a copy of my Xbox Series X save game files?

The new patch did not correct this problem hopefully it will be fixed so I can get the 100% completion.

@d3biru this very same thing is happening to me. hammer won't spawn either. can't progress with the quest in any way. tried fast travelling, loading a previous save and even playing on pc (previously playing on ps5)

Accidentally spoke to Halfdan earlier on without going to jorvik first to start the story arc... Now I can't go back and speak to him and the whole mission won't work.. it's the last thing I need before 100%!

I finish the quest then there is no progression option. i assumed they would fix this in the newest update considering that its been broken before the newest patch.

However, the issue is not mentioned in the known issues thread and it was not patched in 1.1.1

The bug occurs when a player accidently talks to Halfdan before starting the "Lost Glory" quest (for some reason he is already spawned with a dialogue box before the mission begins). Not being able to complete this quest then keeps players from finishing the Order. Also, I have tried reloading the game from the title screen, desktop, and fast traveling away and back. Do you already know about this issue? If not please start working towards a fix, it sucks to get this far and not be able to complete the game.

@ubit00n it is 16 of january and it is still not fixed and not even adressed in the known issues.

@absoluteriot Hello, I do have this same issue. I spoke to Halfdan at an earlier stage of the game, and now I can't complete the quest.

i am so furious. THIS guy NEEDS to talk to me! It is all i have left mission wise. So frustrating.

@mirrrannda I'm in the same boat. I'll lose 20+ hours if it's not fixed and I'm not game to keep playing in case it isn't fixed...
