    For now i have stopped playing as there is nothing meaningful to do.
    However i hope river raids will be super awesome and thus it would be cool to know when the release date is.
    To know more about what it entails

  • Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

    what even is considered to be a map?

    Is England a map for example, or is Vinland one.
    depending on what a map is we could figure out how big it actually might be.

    Yeah it'd be nice if they shared something for once,I'm just afraid they're going to be just a rehash of what we already have,with the same reward.I hope it's not,I hope there are real rewards and the raids are as they advertised highly replayable.I just have this feeling it's going to be like the arena with generic increased difficulty...man that would be a bummer!But I guess it's just the usual wait and see!

    @asgardian02 i wish it work like the bounty system in odyssey, that system was cool and added so much replayability 😞 also the mercenaries drop helix items.. so that would be cool too, because in odyssey i got some helix items by killing this fools 😄 and because they are a kind of mini bosses a more difficult opponents then the regulars npcs.. more people will die and there would be more avenge the player quests, also one handed swords 😞 i like spears too the problem is the spears are so big... when u arent using the spears it has a normal size, but when u use it they got really big...

    the only way to make those raid intresting, would be, add 1-2 pieces of that crappy cashop stuff to chests instead of hidding behind a paywall
    then reset it weekly, that way people have more change to get that stuff

    but wat i'm saying, they will never do that, but day dreaming is nice

    They can be awesome. They can be crappy.
    If they are "instanced maps", they can be good, depending the way they make them, but it wont increase England's replayability (which is quite low as we speak)
    Also three maps sound good, but if it's three little maps, I guess we'll be bored quite fast.
    What I also wait to see is the way they will sync xp, skills, masteries, and those raids.
    They released the 1st patch on December the 15th, the second on January the 15th, can we expect the up to come features on February the 15th then?

    @speedynl21

    i dont want to find helix garbage armors in the world. I want to slay enemies and loot them and find awesome gear.

    Thank you very much.

    @TORFINR
    Exactly, we know maps can be as small as Vinland. Also it will be more loadtime.
    It will depend on the rewards, if there will be enough enemies, if they remove the annoying Finishers, if they added new enemies with new skills.
    If loot is not yet more puzzles in a chest. If we get worth while loot from enemies finally.

    @asgardian02 Well said.

    Hopefully they will also add things to do in England, cause if all our game time is supposed to be passed in those three raid maps, it wont keep us entertained more than matches of Orlog, which is quite good, dont understand me wrong, but it's a "mini game", I only hope river raids wont be "mini games".
    The easiest thing they can do to make England great again (haha) would be to add random and repeatable missions and contracts on mission boards just like in Odyssey: kill 15 Saxon archers in Wessex, loot 5 chests in Northumbria or hunt 10 wolves in Norway. That could be a good start for giving us a reason to roam again in the wilderness beyond the main story arc.

    @torfinr

    i only completed all 19 orlogs to scratch that off the list, but its weird that dice are always linked to gambling and thus involves money, yet in valhalla you cant place a debt on these dice games, making them useless imo.

    Honestly england needs more enemies and the game needs better loot from enemies. and better mastery system, Gaining 1lvl to get an increase of 0,1% stats is pointless and not worth my time to work for.

    @torfinr That would be fun, but if they do that, I suppose the Saxon archers disappear from Wessex the moment you arrive there, as do the wolves from Norway. 😉
