Hello. Good days to you. Hahaha
I was wondering if there are places like outposts and strongholds in this game. I've watched quite a few gameplays but all of them were focusing on missions and puzzle areas. Actually, I didn't want to watch them too much and spoil myself to a point where I would feel like I don't need to play the game anymore, you know? Hahaha. Well, is there? I have nothing to offer but appreciation so all I can say is please and thank you. -
@hwanah Yeah there's plenty of outposts and strongholds - a main feature of the game and the plot is conquering and raiding places like these to support your clan and settlement.
You've the option of stealthing your way in and sneaking about to assassinate people, or you can go in and swing your axe about, its up to you really. That's probably one of the selling points of the Origins/Odyssey/Valhalla games. They offer you a lot of freedom in how you want to play.
Valhalla is full of big battles and full blown sieges, not just puzzles and mysteries. (Though the more hidden and out-of-the-way content is very interesting too for the most part.) -
Pretty much what OrcBeard92 said. There are many outposts and strongholds in all the scires, and many of them have treasures waiting for you to pick up as side activities.
Since the only goal is to get them, how to do so is entirely up to you, although take note that assassinations yield slightly more XP then combat kills. Also, if you are still early in the game, some outposts/strongholds have areas that are inaccessible because these are story-related. -
