Bolingbroc Castle order clue - Bug?

As I was progressing through the story in Lincolnscire, the quest " In the absence of an Ealdorman, I had to go to this castle and right beside the Book of Knowledge on the table was an order clue. I picked it up but it did not update any order members information. It´s no longer on the table. Is it a bug? Is it relevant?, because i´m almost finished with Lincolnscire arc (last mission), and completed all wealth, mysteries and artifacts. and it would be awful to go back to another save. This clue was for wich order member?
