AC Valhalla Achievements not unlocking on Xbox One X.

  • Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

    Hello there,

As we have had no persistent reports of this issue with unlocking Xbox Achievements since the release of TU 1.2.1, we will now be locking this thread.

If you encounter any further trouble with unlocking Xbox Achievements, then please feel welcome to create a new thread and we’ll gladly take a closer look. When creating a new thread, please include the following information:

    • The name(s) of the Achievement you have been unable to unlock.
    • Have you migrated platforms (such as from Xbox One to Xbox Series X|S)?
    • If you have migrated platforms, did you unlock the Achievement on your previous platform?
    • Images or a video which shows you have met the requirements for the Achievement in-game.

This information will be helpful for further investigation.

    Thanks! 😊

There seems to be a problem with the achievements.
I've been playing the game for a few hours on the new xbox series x and didn't receive any achievements yet.
Althought I should receive at least 2 achievements for completing the prologue and leaving Norway.

Hey guys! Absolutely loving the game so far, I haven't run into any game breaking bugs or anything but its looking like a few achievements won't unlock for me. *WARNING, POSSIBLE SPOILERS AHEAD* The specific achievements are "Rampage"(Complete first raid in England) and "It's Alive!"(Create Jomsviking) other achievements seems to be tracking just fine but I should definitely have these by now. I'm wondering if maybe the servers are overloaded and they'll catch up eventually? Just wondering if you guys have any advice! Thanks for reading and thanks for making an amazing game!

Hey Guys, the achievement ‘Everyday Life’ for completing 10 World Events will not unlock for me!

I have completed at least 30 Events at this point and the achievement tracker is stuck at 90% which is 9/10 Events complete, can you please help?

Hi all! Love the game (roughly 10 hrs in). I have run into an issue where I cannot unlock any achievements on my xbox one X post the prologue achievement. I have completed multiple requirements for unlocking multiple achievements but they are not unlocking. Is this a known issue and can this be resolved without having to start a new game?

    Cheers!

@samsword456 The prologue achievement didn't even unlock for me. Had zero achievements so far. Playing on Series X. Can we get a response from Ubisoft on this? Don't want to progress any further if I'm just going to have to start again to get missed achievements.

    Hey folks,

Sorry to hear that you are not receiving achievements.

I have not come across anyone else experiencing similar issues yet, could you provide some screenshots showing your quest log and your achievements list?

I was seeing similar issues. Day 1 the prologue and England arrival achievements unlocked, and others showed progression. I had 9/10 world events done when I finished for the day.

Picked the game up again yesterday and progressed world events and the story. The world event progress for 'Everyday life' is still showing 9/10. I did the first raid of the story and the associated first raid in England achievement, 'Rampage' is still locked.

Then midnight came around, there was a brief drop of Ubisoft services, but I unlocked the Jomsviking creation achievement without issue.

As seen in the screenshot above, I'm now on Chapter 5. That first raid happens in chapter 4 (I think, it might be chapter 3), so 'Rampage' should have unlocked.

I suspect it's just an Xbox Live issue and it'll catch up in time, but I don't want to get too far invested in a game this big and then have to restart if this isn't actually the case.

Same issue. I've completed 12 world events, achievement did not unlock. I loaded an older save with 9 completed world events, completed a 10th one, but it still didn't unlock.
    I'm playing on PS4.

@ubi-swaggins There are definitely alot of people experiencing achievement problems. There's a bunch talking about it over on the TrueAchievements forums. I'm in the middle of Norway way past the prologue part and still don't have that prologue achievement. I don't want to progress any further until achievements start unlocking.

@purified666 Same issue. I have played for over 20 hours. I have left Norway, raided in England, finished at least 20 world stories. I have only unlocked the prologue achievement and that's it. My tracking for the world stories is stuck at 20%. I don't know if I need to restart or is there going to be a patch. There are a lot of people having this issue. See the forums on trueachievments. Ubisoft- do I restart, wait for a patch, or what? I love this game and want to continue but don't want to put in 100 hours and still have only 1 achievement unlocked.

Xbox achievements aren't tracking as they should be. There are many reports on Trueachievements.com that some achievements aren't unlocking at all when requirements are fully met
