I was playing the mission near the end of the game where Guthrum follows you to rescue some of his men. On the way, we passed a blue dot and I took a detour and discovered the Legendary pair of lynxes. I figured Guthrum's men weren't going anywhere, so I went on a cat hunt.

Much to my surprise, Guthrum joined me in the fight! He didn't actually do any damage but because he was unkillable, he kept one lynx busy while I finished the other off. Very helpful for this battle.

I wonder if this exploit is more widely usable or works for other temporary followers. I tried taking Guthrum to another Legendary fight but I lost him when I fast-travelled. But I reckon if I'd travelled the long way, I could have kept him for a lot longer.

First off, I am by no means some kind of combat ace—at least I don't think I am—for whom recognizing and learning enemy attack patterns is second nature. When I started out with AC:V at Vikingr difficulty, I lost my fair share of battles, and not only with elites. But now that I'm up to the Sciropeshire arc, few encounters seem challenging anymore, not even the Zealots. I don't think I've gotten that "gud," rather, I think that the endless flow of skill points and some nice gear have helped. I'll try the Berserkr setting next, though I hope it won't just be a jarring difficulty hike. In most games, I find the default setting challenging enough. Is it possible that Ubisoft has made theirs a wee bit too easy this time?

Let's see. Half the stuff they said they fixed still ain't fixed. Still got items I can't pick up or aint where map says they are.
I just opened lock on barred door but it says its still locked.
These mystery quests need to be tracked because they say hey go find someone with no idea where to go to find them. It makes no sense.

I can't believe yall made the game worse than it was. How is that possible?

This is the worst game I've ever played & thats saying something.
