Quick Suggestions

    First off, one handed swords, they need to be in the game. Please fix this.
    Secondly, Not sure if anyone has suggested this yet, but I'd quite like to see a better use for all the iron ore I'm collecting in-game and a far greater reward for mini-bosses - custom weapons.

    So, new character / addon to the blacksmith, a master swordsmith; once they arrive in your settlement, you gain the ability to design and craft your own weapons. Doesn't have to be anything too fancy - blades, hilts, handles, etching and an option to name it - something similar to the gunsmith in Ghost Recon. You could collect parts in the world through exploring and looting, with unique weapon parts being a reward for defeating a boss etc and then use the parts to assemble your own unique weapons or complete a "set" to build a specific weapon. Each part could have a rating and unique stats / bonuses allowing you to combine them into your very own epic raven-feeder. As an incentive to Ubisoft management, it's also obviously very monetizable.

  • Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

    @klauskniffler

    sounds good, but honestly u need a lot of ore to max out all your gear.

    @klauskniffler I think this sounds awesome. Means you can maximise your gear rather than waste your materials on weapons you'll never use

    Remember those commercials, ' it's my money and I need it now! ", or something like that. That's what browsing the forums sounds like most of the time. " It's my game make it like this! " " One handed swords I need it now! " 🤪

    Yes, any custom options are always nice in a RPG. I agree it would be cool to build your own weapons.

    @quor321 don't get me wrong, some suggestions are a bit silly. But come on? One handed swords should've been there in the first place. Plus the build your own weapon sounds awesome.

    @max18400 It is odd that they are not. My comment is in jest as the game will probably have many of these features suggested or complained about by games end.

    It is my belief that it's not in there best interest to make the perfect game. Or as close as possible. For one it would take way to long, and people would play it endlessly instead of buying the next, and the next and the next, and so on.

    I do wish I waited to get valhalla as the bugs would be delt with and content is released. But I'm enjoying regardless.

    @quor321 definitely. Tbh, I think to make the game as good as possible (within reason) is to fix the bugs, add one handed swords and a transmog system.
    Like some player suggested features are awesome, like making your own weapons, but some age very questionable and likely not practical

    Nah. One-handed swords should probably be in the game, but I don't see any benefit to making your own.

    @ziggurcat

    are'nt you a sourpuss??

    you downvote every single idea here on the forums.

    None of the sugesstion we make will make it into the game anyway as the decs dont interact with us here, but some ideas are cool.

    If you dont have some positivity to share maybe say nothing at all? 😉
    Just a thought.

    @asgardian02 Well no, you can't downvote anything here. Just because it's an RPG-style game doesn't mean that building your own weapons is a good idea, either. I would agree with adding a bit more variety in the weaponry - like adding one-handed swords or a few more axe/hammer types - but you'd still be limited to whatever the devs design if a custom option is made available and chances are they'd just get bombarded with more whining about how there's not enough.

    @ziggurcat

    he didnt say weapons, he said transmog additions.

    a better crafting system wouldnt be bad.
    I have noticed you dont like anything other ppl suggest and thats a way of life i suppose. 😉

    Good luck with that.

    Hey there! Thank you for your suggestions KlausKniffler, it sounds like others in the community wouldn't mind these additions as well! I have forwarded these up to the Game team for review. I have also sent up your suggestion of a transmog system Max18400! If anyone else has any other suggestions or ideas for the game, please let us know!

    @ubikobold

    nice that someone is interacting with us.

    I have made a few threads already with ideas.
    These are:

    A Toggle to switch off finisher moves, they are slow and take long and if you engage in combat a lot u get to see the same ones over and over, which becomes boring and really takes you out of the flow of combat
    Better inventory system, with big tabs and no more scrolling down. We can see the stats of item when hoover over them with a moose. Now its pretty chaotic.
    Bring back the transmog system from Odyssey, it was awesome!
    Give us a gear slot for armbands, so we can do something usefull with the bands we got from our alliances which are a big part of this game.
    Give us back the powers of sinu from Odyssey, that was so good.
