Unable to complete "The Ritual of the Berserker" objective

Since latest patch I've lost the update portion on my map view that should show the mini steps to complete... I had progressed to "The Ritual of the Berserker" and now cannot progress at all.. I have been to a known location for Nightshade, and cannot find the plant at all, nor is the quest even listed in my options anymore. I even tried loading an earlier save - no help. My console is an Xbox 1X. Timeline, Nov 24th, all seemed good. Nov 26th, new patch, quest gone or actually only the title shows on the map view, all other reference seems to be missing...

@meisterbuck Yes, my ritual of the berserker quest seems to have broken too. I found the nightshade, then i lost the map pointer to the next step... I am at the gallows tree, in front of the berserker guy, buy no dialog is being triggered. The quest no longer appears in either my list of current or completed quests!!
