Hi, english is not my first language.
I was replaying a raide when I thought about the little competition between Legolas and Gimli in the Lord of the ring movie. You know, who had killed more enemy. Maybe it would be great idea to implemente a similar competition between Eivor and the Jomsvikings when we replay a raide. Killed a enemy would bring point to the player or to the Jomsvikings. Some enemy (more tough) would value more point than a simple enemy (Yes, i know, Gimli would be disapointed by that). The more point has Eivor, the more xp she/he will earn at the end of the raide.
I think this is a good idea because replaying a raide give nothing significante. It's just boring.
Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

There is very little replayability for all the raids, that's a fact. the chests should at least start being reset daily after you get Ravensthorpe to lv6. That way it's worth doing them over and over for weapon upgrade materials etc... maybe add different armor sets for completing 50,100, & 250 monastery raids. It would make them worth the time replaying then.
@sii_frederic
odyssey hadnt really any endgame, sure you could conquer these lands over and over but that got boring fast.
Yet valhalla has literally no endgame ie replayability whatsever.
I dind it strange that cater to a game as an ongoing service then not make the game attracted to return to on a dialy or weekly basis after you have completed everything since there i sjust no replay value..
My understanding is that replayable raids are coming. Something about them being on their own map too.
As far as replayable raids with our current maps I definitely think some tweaking is needed to make them worth it.
On a side note I have noticed for such a young game with a good chunk of game to be played people sure seem to be very demanding for me already. I understand the fixes needed but more content already? Dang give it some time. Next expansion I believe is February and that seems to quick.
@quor321
yeah, the demand from the fanbase for more content is quite high, I can agree on that. I more so like seeing new mechanics added to games over new maps/areas/armors etc... personally. Even though mechanics can be buggier than just adding new armor I'd rather see the effort of say
making Ravensthorpe have alerts for when bandits raid it and you have to get you and your Vikingrs to protect the city. then the building in your settlement that states something along the lines of "responsible for the fortifications of Ravensthorpe could be used for posting tree stands with archers on guard, maybe building wooden walls that get slightly more complex as you upgrade it. and these fortifications can take damage and you either have to repair them which will cost supplies or if you don't have enough supplies have to deal with it until you can go raid for some.
something simple like that, I'd say it should come into aspect later in the game so early on players can focus on building the town up but once you hit settlement lv5 Ravensthorpe should be large enough to be warranted for bandits to hit it.

for a young game? are you serious? Its the x installment of the AC series.
Ppl expect them to build upon previous released title and improve stuff instead lots of stuff got left out compared to previous title and is even worse, so yeah ppl complain.
@asgardian02 This game is two months old. I do agree they may have removed to much from what made odyssey great but I hope they always try new things with each new installment of the game. For each complaint there is praise to match. Some think this is the best AC yet.
