The game is already finished by most of us and like me a lots of others are very disappointed about this game.
The STORY CREATOR MODE will bring back in game some of the players at least.
As well will be more players interested to create stories, as well keep them busy in game and not made them unistalling the game!

@argous_nie Please god don't bring this stupid thing to this game. It is one of 2 things I don't want brought to this game. I dont want the customization system as well.

@leoraptor1979 Why do you say it's stupid ? Did you tried to play a story or create a story in Oddyssey?

@argous_nie Yes I did try playing and creating a story. I just found it to be stupid and a waste of time.

@leoraptor1979 If it's about the time spending for creating a working story it's very normal. You cannot create a story in 5 min or 1 h unless you want just to kill a target or some simple tasks. If you want to create a story with multiple quests and dialogues will take some time... but in the end it's fun. Playing your own quest for the first time like a player not like a creator without the invisibility / immortality... mode, it's nice. As well with this story creator mode people can show their creativity and ideas. Things that in some way are missing from our developers. Their goal is to get their money for the work they done, than to think of the community and their needs.

@argous_nie Just because it is fun for you doesn't mean it is fun for everyone. I found the majority of quest people to be very boring. I dont have a issue with it taking awhile to make a quest, I mean it is to confusing for me to make one.

@argous_nie Since the game is missing end game content and the world doesnt provide enough opportunities to test end game character builds I agree..

@leoraptor1979 I agree that it's not for all fun playing stories created by users and I agree that are some creations that are made just to be along the other creators. But it's their right to show their potential and if they believe that's all they can do about their stories is their loss. But among those they are very interesting stories created by some users who really made their effort and heart in their creation.

If someone doesn't much care for story creator content is it not simply a matter of ignoring that type of content? Don't the icons make it clear what is story creator content and what isn't? How would putting it into Valhalla adversely affect gameplay if you can just choose to ignore it and anyone who does like it can choose to play it? Can't say I've played much Odyssey since the story creator content feature was released so I may be missing something?

@darren_evans I'm playing Odyssey right now. And it already has the option to turn the Story Creator Mode off.

It's a moot point anyway, the Story Creator is never coming to Valhalla because Valhalla lacks the Radiant (random) Quest framework that was built into Odyssey from the beginning of development. That framework simply does not exist in Valhalla and at this point in the game's development it would be nearly impossible to add it to the game without a complete rewrite of the game's core which is still quite unstable. Plus if you added a major new function to the game then you'd have to remove an existing major function to get it to fit and work on the limited resources of a Xbox One or PS4
