Looted carbon ingot but map marker doesn't disappear and wealth tracker does not update.

I killed the marauder archer boss in his camp's watch tower on the first norway region. I looted him and got the carbon ingot. But the map marker did not go away and the wealth tracker is still showing me as missing one of the items. If it makes any difference, I think he fell out of the tower. That is where I looted him. Anyway, this seems to be not working right.
