Hi guys,

I'm playing on PS4.

I've reached the point in the quest where I've confronted the Seax's sister and she's run into a side room. She's called for guards to help her but none have arrived and I cannot speak to her which means I cannot progress. Because I spent so long trying to fix this myself (closed/restarted the game, tried to use a previous save during the quest, meditated etc) my previous save is hours before this in Asgard and I REALLY don't want to redo everything!

All I did before the quest was the Assassin's bureau.

Have you got any advice?

I encountered the same issue. I killed a civilian attending the funeral and walked back to the side room containing the bishops sister. This prompted a conversation with her immediately. (without having to manually start the conversation by pushing triangle). I hope this helps! Good luck!

I kill the seaxe and there is no cutscene so I’m basically stuck in limbo..

I had the same problem. I went into the room with the sister, tried to attack her, attacked civilians, attacked soldiers, fast traveled to Lunden and back, did a world event and even closed and restarted the game. None of that worked. Eventually though, I went back into the room wit the sister and then exited the animus, checked a flower pot, talked to Shaun and then re-entered the animus. I walked closer and the scene finally started. I don't know if you HAVE to talk to check the potted flower and talk to Shaun, but just trying exiting and re-entering the animus while in or near the room with the sister.

@lostdougie, this helped a lot, i tried a bunch of other [censored] ppl said to do but yours was the only one that worked. Kudos my good sir

Got this same issue last night. No luck trying to leave to Animus and coming back though. When I had saved and come back into the game, she was back outside, and started going into the dialog, then blipped into the room, but it didn't seem to count the dialog as happening, so now I am stuck and cannot progress.

I am playing on a PS5 for whatever that is worth too.

Unmasking (on pc, press B) worked for me, hope it's gonna work for you

This just worked for me. Load the game before you arrive at the funeral. Finish investigating all three items in the cemetery BEFORE talking to the sister (A little difficult as she is standing right next to the body you need to investigate). After you found all three items begin your convo with her. Quick fight then I was able to then talk to the sister again (Had to push and squeeze in front of her a little to get the "talk" icon).
