I probably got the worse bug ever makes game almost not eben playable ( NPC no longer talk and closed caption not working at all)

I was stuck on a part of the game and after finally beating the part where ur shot at by arrows and have to breach through 3 gates , after beating that part after failing about 20 times it seems my NPCs are no longer talking or showing closed caption , only mouths move but that's it and I can select the response but I don't don't know what they are saying ! I tried making a new game no luck so im hoping me uninstalling and reinstalling works if not then this game is not even playable for me. Will update after it reinstall hopefully a patch can be made so more people don't have their experience ruined like mines is currently . It wouldn't be as bad if I could get closed caption but nothing works only music when sailing but can't hear any stories or dialogue what so ever sigh.

And no it's not my xbox series x all other games work perfectly

I have the same problem. No audio for dialogue, no subs either.
I've tried the following:
Downloading audio packs in English, and also other languages, just says they're suspended.
Changing Xbox audio settings to 2Ch Stereo/5.1/7.1/Bit Stream audio - No change
Tried through headphones - no change
Looking at the forum this was first reported in early November yet they haven't added it to the known glitch list, or indeed replied to the original complaint.
Shoddy customer service, no to mention yet another rushed release that is not fit for purpose.
