Since there are people, like myself, how have been locked out of even getting to experience the event. I am hoping that you guys might extend the event after whatever fix you apply. My wife and I were really looking forward to experiencing Yule in game. By the time I realized that it was gone my older save that still has it is WAY to far back to reload. So I'm really hoping you guys will consider extending the event after whatever fix is applied, if you read this thank you for taking the time. Skol!

@mr_covert As far as I have heard, they are reducing the time for the Yule event and will most likely remove it due to some of the problems it appears to have caused with the game- although this is my speculation based upon what I've 'heard'.

@michael_monstar You can read through the forums, a lot of people are having issues with the Yule event, along with some problems apparently starting to occur since the Yule event was activated. I also read that initially the time for the Yule quests stated 15 days... but that was reduced to 5 days recently. Now I cannot confirm because I am not interested in the Yule event, I'm just reporting what I've read in the various threads here regarding the Yule event.

@adarklore I had gotten an in-game message telling me that Yule was ending in 48 hours and all the timers disappeared on the Yule quests. I have multiple saved characters as I am running a save set for each of the character options; so, I switched to my original save that as 100% of the game completed and everything was normal for Yule on that save. I went ahead and got all the stuff on all three saves just to be safe. I switched back to the save where I got the message and everything had reverted back to Yule ending in 14 days, so I don't know what the heck is going on.

@mr_covert the yule event was boring as hell, also u can got everything from there in less then 1 hour, like i buy everything from the yule in less them that and sinces them i havent played valhalla, because is full of bugs... u didnt miss anything, the event give nothing interesting to want to do it, the games during the events are boring and not interesting at all

Well if that's the case hopefully they'll just hand over all the rewards to everyone for it being such a mishap and yeah I'm pretty disappointed to see all the issues with this being the first event and all. Personally because it's the first time I've seen yule celebrated in any game I've played, I don't come across a lot of games that really support the same practices my family and I follow. I've been super impressed with a lot of the small details in this game and how incredibly accurate they've been.

after playing offline and online mode that yule event tanks your fps. that huge bonfire in the middle is one of the reasons. devs didnt optimize the yule event because it was supposed to be one of those "atta boy here you go" type of dlc/events. i mean look at the rewards you get for turning in the tokens, its the exact same outfits as the other one but just different colors. appreciate the devs effort to throw something for players to do over christmas but man if they were gonna half bake something rather not just release it at all. how can one enjoy something when bugs and glitches riddle the experience and breaks from the immersion. enjoyment leads to frustration.

the fighting is bugged out since the player keeps floating in the middle of the arena as if an invisible box was placed in the middle of the ring.

go anywhere near that huge bonfire and watch your fps tank now play this game in offline mode and see the huge difference in fps increase.

@big_boss_s well as I cant experience the yule event because after buying the game and working it on hard, I finally got to the point that it would activate and it just vanishes lol I cant say I've experienced that fps drop from the bonfire. Otherwise the game has been running flawlessly for me, sure there's some bugs here and there, nothing new to AC anyway. Just would prefer they give us all the rewards for free for this inconvinence, because there are some things I wanted from that event. Anyone else it's happened to were completely jipped of it all, regardless if it ran bad or not. Even if they dont want to admit to it failing, I would take the items as an xmas gift if anything lol

@mr_covert Certainly would be nice if they made up for the event having issues if they just give the items to those that were at least logged in and playing during the event. They know there are issues because I have seen it acknowledged in other threads. They should do the right thing. I gave you an upvote to hopefully draw attention to this thread, Hopefully others will do the same.
