It's well past 12:01 AEDT and I still can't play the game in my region.
Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

Hello there,

Thanks
Hello,
I pre-bought the game on Epic games store but installed it through ubisoft connect account. I have my accounts linked. Will it be necessary to download it via the EGS client, as well, to be able to play? I am asking cause in the EGS client the game is show as uninstalled. Thank you in advance!
@georgemanos13 i have 3 ubi games from epic store, all can be managed from the uplay client without any interaction to the epic store whatsoever, so if the new ac game goes by the same rules, you shouldn't need the epic store as soon as your game is in your uplay library.
if you could preload the game from uplay without using the epic store, any other interaction should also be possible in the same way.
@georgemanos13 Hi! As mentioned above, you should only need to download the game once, so you should be able to launch the game from Ubisoft Connect on launch.
Sorry to hear you have experienced this, so we can get this looked into could you confirm if this was purchased directly from our Ubisoft store or another 3rd party retailer.?
Regarding issues of crashing, could I suggest to check your device is above the minimum required specifications and that all your drivers are up to date, then run through the steps outlined here if you are still experiencing this issue.
In New Zealand and it did not unlock at first, I had to update the game and restart the client, when installing the patch it restarted my computer without prompt and after relogging at finishing off the final setup (vcrdst etc) it finally started up just thought I would comment my steps in the hopes it would help some of you !
@ubi-litten Sorry I think I purchased it from Epic Games, my bad. I should wait for tomorrow. Sorry for the trouble.
I bought mine through the Epic game store but have my Uplay account connected...Should this make any difference?
@ubi-litten If we bought it through EGS do we not get the access even though we have our Uplay accounts connected?
@s3xybunny666 I have the exact question. I don't know why I need to wait till EGS release. I have already linked the game to uplay account. It's not like Steam where launching through uplay will launch EGS. It doesn't do that for Division 2.
@redindianrobin especially when there was never any blatant or clear advertising about this 'special' feature... I paid my money give me my game!!!
@s3xybunny666 EGS is a whole day late. I knew buying from Epic was a bad idea. Game unlocks only on 11th.
@s3xybunny666 The release times for different platforms were always clear communicated. Your fault.
If bought on uplay you can play now using VPN -> Australia from everywhere on this planet.
Epic Games Store, single, global release time: November 10 at 8:00 PST / 11:00 EST / 16:00 UTC / 17:00 CET, or November 11 at 3:00 AEDT.
@redindianrobin How can EGS [censored] up another game release...yet again. I took the day off work man... And the day its actually out for EGS I have to work
@thw-ger Don't you understand? I have already linked the game to my Uplay. It's in my Uplay library. Why should I wait for EGS?
