Hi,
I cannot complete The Case of the Missing Ale / world marker misplaced- Workaround – Finding the brew: The brew is located here: (http://static2.ubi.com/pxm/AC/ACV_Ale2.PNG). Spoilers. -> Working

Pro: Looks like the quest restarts itself if unfinished.
Contra: It's still buggy and I can't complete it.
Symptoms:
#1 Talking to the guy.
#2 Winning the fist fight.
#3 Recovering the barrel.

#4 Running to the guy -> no interaction possible.
#5 Running to the not marked location mentioned as the location to be in the workaround -> No guy at that spot.
#6 Placing the barrel at the boat -> nothing happens.
#7 Walking to the boat nearer to the bridge ruins, entering it, moving it, breaking it -> barrel is disappered and back at it's original location.
#8 Guy is still not talkative, not at the boat position and I'm stuck in the error loop.
