Yule festival gear saved to uplay account?

Is this gear going to be specific to the save game, or the uplay account. I was considering starting a new game, with that in mind I was curious if I should just wait to do the Yule festival activities, or if they would be saved throughout saves. I hope my question makes sense. Does anyone know for certain?

@fiendtron84 I was just wondering this. I just checked the owned section in the store and it does not appear there. And on my other save those items have to be bought again. Looks like if you start a new game in the future these items will not be available to that character.
