Since the new update...whenever I go into my settlement, I immediately become drunk without drinking. And it's the bad drunk...can barely see. I have to make my way to my bed and sleep. Sometimes it removes the effect immediately...sometimes I have to sleep multiple times. Anyone else having this issue?

After completing Aegir's Daughter (Jotunheim) quest, my character is always drunk after loading the game. I have to wait 10 seconds for him to sober up. Can this be fixed somehow? There are no saves left for the quest.

Same here, not only when I travel to the village, but everytime I fasttravel.

I’m at about 80 hours and it’s [censored] me off, this game has goddamn bugged and crashed so many times. This is the last mission to find the father and can’t even start it and my last save is 8 hours back it’s goddamn ridiculous has anyone stumbled upon this. I have also lost my quiver my arrow count has went down. It just keeps getting worse each update

Happened after the patch 1.1.0

I died in Hamtunscire, i reloaded the game and Eivor is in a permanent drunk state. No matter which save i load, he is always drunk

always drunk on any load, no matter whether from quicksave or save, also indepedent from location. started with Yule event. lasts for a minute or so.

Every time i load my game Eivor is drunk and it won't pass until i get a cutscene. It started happening after i went into the Yule drinking contest.
I already tried saving the game while he was drunk, while he wasn't, i slept, got drunk again, saved again, still happening.
And i don't wish to load an old savegame bcause i've already done too many quests, raids, got items and i'm not willing to loose it all for a bug.

@garmiir this is common right now. Ubisoft seems to have a coding problem. Too many things are not behaving the way they should.

Let's hope they actually fix it istead of leaving the game fckd, say "yeah, it's fixed" and hop in to the next Assassin's Creed like they did to Unity. Man, Ac Valhalla's bugs have managed to be worst than Unity's, that's truly surprising.

I constantly load in game in drunk state.After a while the drunk effect goes away but it continues to happen when
I load in a game.

Pls help.

After the Yule Festival has started, every time you load a saved file, the screen is dizzy as if you were drunk.

Fast travel is fine. This issue occurs when reloading a saved file.

I just noticed, after i do the event quest, fighting and drinking and be not drunked anymore and saved games,after that i load again and my character be drunked again without any reason.
For example i already olay aeound 40 hours, but i made save again after first hour and i load this Eivor still drunked.

@tyuhyun This is allso a problem on PS4. I hope it gets patched quickly.

@in33t I am having this problem too. Every time a load a save file (any save file at all) I appear drunk.

Looking on Reddit it appears there are quite a few people who are also encounting this bug since the Yule Event started.

@beyondevilgood im unable to return the secret brew barrel.

I just did the Yule fight quest, and now, everytime I load a game, Eivor is drunk. It's just a minute, no game breaking, but annoying.

I have this issue to!! Every time I load the game, no matter where I spawn I am drunk (it is very annoying)

After the last patch Eivor is constantly drunk when i log in. After a while it disappears. But when i create i new save and log back in he is drunk again and i have to wait.
