@sixpounder85 nope from what im seeing all the support does its just try to blame us for something. they're not excepting they need to push a patch out. SAD ubisoft! Really thought they would be more professional and willing to resolve all of our issues
@sixpounder85 yeah exact same here, not really acceptable from AAA studio. Clearly some fixes work but it shouldn't be at the stage where people have to do this, i thought 13 hours at work might be enough time for them to figure something out but looks like i was wrong.
I am also experiencing this exact same issue. Splash screen pops up after trying to launch, then immediately crashes..
As many other players, Stuck on the splash screen for over 12 hours now. Tried all of the remedies other players have suggested and all of the usual Guff. Please Ubi, see these posts and help us out, we need a patch to fix this. At least acknowledge the issue and put a statement out saying you are trying to fix this.
@seniilisika I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing this problem as well! Have you tried completing the steps listed in our technical troubleshooting guide?
@nutotz I've seen small Devs find out about stuff like this and have a patch out within the HOUR! Ubisoft your getting ridiculous! and most all other AAA studios would have a patch out within the hour but i guess only big time streamers can play and few regular gamers can play this gaem! hey UBISOFT if your game is still a beta then push the release date! we wouldnt care! Because then you will give us a playable GAME!
@ubikoality
We have all tried the guides to fix, And also all tried the other methods we can think of. This issue happened with AC Origins years ago, Its definitely an issue with the game that Ubisoft will need to fix.
Got it to work by moving the game to my Windows drive. Lucky enough to have room there.
Same issues with me as well - tried all the various fixes around. I do have an m.2 drive exclusively as storage for my PC which I have heard others say might be a problem. Can anyone else confirm if they're using this type of drive?
@beez_trees same for me tried everything nothing works pretty expensive art for something i cant play.
just move the game to your windows drive - you have not to reinstall - after moving it, start the game from the folder - then the files will be verified - it works then for me -

@frame1983j I shouldn't have to do that to fix the game. Ubisoft should be able to release a AAA £50 game that works on release without having to jump through hoops to fix. Ive already spent many hours more than i should of trying to fix this game.
