@shenoxdfug Same as well. I updated my driver too. Is this related to Dx12? I have a GPU that should support it and I'm not getting any error codes

At first launch I was able to get into menu. Set graphics to High setting and run benchmark. Completed with 74fps average.
Hit play and it froze.
Closed, relaunched game and nothing. It just hangs and not completely launching the game.
Restarted PC and game still doesn't launch.

RX 5700 ( latest 11.1.20 drivers)
16GB RAM -

Same here, startup splash screen (windowed) and game never starts, even uninstalled and downloaded it again...

Same story with me, game is stuck on the green logo screen. Tried repairing VST-client. Didn't change anything.

It has been stuck on the warning screen for like half an hour now and I’ve restarted it a fee times,why move the release date forward by a week when you simply aren’t able to make the game work by then, it’s disappointing to see such a company fail it’s loyal customer base and provide them with products that are neither of merchantable quality nor fit for purpose. We paid a lot for this game and in return we receive something sub-standard, it’s a disgrace.

Well not a good launch for ubisoft... I can't get past the startup screen either.

I had the same problem earlier, but managed to get it to work on the fourth try.
Only thing that changed was I updated my graphics driver. Maybe check your one is up to date? -
@elvende i updated everything. And reinstalled connect. And valhalla. Twice. Nothing. Watch dogs Legion loads up fine. So I know there is nothing wrong with my pc.

Just wanna say I downloaded updated drivers from https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/2977003/the-latest-supported-visual-c-downloads plus installed on my main c drive and its working finally!
I did a support chat and a bunch of other crap for 5 hours and this worked. Not sure why if they main drive is the fix but thanks for the suggestion/idea.

i cant get past the "Dont quit the game when this icon is showing" or something like that. The screen just turns black
