    Same here, more fps issues after 1.1.0. Ubisoft are getting absolutely incompetent and it's getting irritating AF!

    I still tend to stick in the 55-65 fps range but randomly out of nowhere it drops into the teens for a few minutes and then eventually comes back up. This is very distracting and needs to be fixed!

    I understand and I'm sorry you're experiencing this; we're working to get it resolved.

    Hello
    1 DxDiag here https://fex.net/ru/s/srppycl

    2 Settings here (screenshots in the post)

    3 I don't want to use a programs I don't know

    Thank you! Not to worry about step 3, anything you are able to provide is super helpful 🙂

    Here's the picture of CPU and GPU usage and DxDiag logs by the way. CPU usage was close to 100% before the patch as well as the usage of the GPU. As can be seen on the picture it's barely 50-60 percent now after patching, FPS dropped significantly (by 20-25).

    DxDiag link

    This is perfect, thank you. From what I have seen, most affected players are also getting a maximum of 60-70% usage of their CPU GPU.

    @TChris96 would it also be possible to have an image of your in-game graphics settings please?

    I will forward everything to our team; thank you all!

    I will gladly help : -)

    Ran with mid graphic preset.

    The GPU usage starts rising at the end of the benchmark where the water takes up a huge part of the screen.

    Great, thank you both very much!

    @peterlaub I don't have access to the DxDiag, can you please double check the permissions?

    Would it also be possible to provide an image showing your benchmark performance? Ideally using a trusted 3rd party overlay tool.

    So glad you're looking into this problem seriously. It's a great game, so it's a shame the patch has affected performance so badly for some, myself included.

    I won't add settings screens as the loss is regardless of settings, but I basically use the Very High preset @ 1080p.... Even dropping to Medium does not return performance to pre 1.1.0 levels.

    Here is a link to my DxDiag file. My PC is old, but I was more than happy with how the game ran, until now.

    @ubi-raziel Here are my statistics in videos. You can see the settings and the benchmark running.

    Running Benchmark:

    Demo Ravensthrope and Centerbury:

    DxDiag: https://jpst.it/2mRl7

    You can clearly see FPS barely stays within 30-35 range, which never happended prior to this patch in my experience. The most insulting part is the Yule festival that tanks the FPS to below 30. How is Ubisoft expecting us to enjoy the seasonal event when we can't even play the game?

    Hoping that Ubisoft engineers investigate this? It's been happening since launch

    The issue that I'm having might be related to this thread topic. Can your engineers please look into this?

    Can anyone try this and see if it works for them, too? It seems too simple, but, while in-game, change window mode to borderless, apply, save. Then change back to full screen, apply, save. I don't know why but it seems to fix the issue for me consistently. Is it just me?

    @badmotrfinger Nope, doesn't work unfortunately.

    I'm having the same issue. I get around average of 22 fps. What I did notice is as soon as I launch the game my cpu core speed drops to 3.7 Ghz. Then once I get in the menus it drops to 800Mhz. The core speeds stay this way even after exiting the game. The only way to get my cpu to operate right again is to restart my pc. This only happens with AC Valhalla. The game is messing with the CPU somehow.

    @radi3nt Damn, that's why I was hesitant to post it, but it worked for me multiple times so I figured maybe I was onto something.

    Hi there

    Dx Diag https://easyupload.io/uax4wp: (https://easyupload.io/uax4wp)

    Settings:
    undefined

    undefined

    For translation : Muito alto = Very High
    Alto = High
    Ligado = On
    Desligado = Off

    Usage:
    undefined
    I forgot to put Minimum and maximum usages, but it just stays within the 55% - 65% range.

    i also used to have steady 50-55 fps on this settings, and very rarely it would go below that, but after this patch i can't get more than 30 fps in big cities. Thanks

    This is how bad its playing. Core speed goes to 800Mhz. I know my drivers are not up to the latest. I rolled them back to see if it helped but didn't make any difference. Guess I cut off the FPS but its setting at 26 fps.

    @easytarget2kill

    800 MHZ ..... wasn't that the clock speed for the Pentium 4 circa 2001?

    I'm tellin' ya all that is wrong here is someone missed setting a compiler switch when the recompiled the EXE ...... All they need to do is go back and double check their compiler settings, find the setting(s) they missed or set wrong and recompile the EXE ...... FFS I'm a hardware engineer and I know how this stuff works ......

    And I'm not buying they can't reproduce this problem because as far as I can tell it affects ALL Intel CPUs
