Locked Solved [RESOLVED] After pledging to Lincolnscire, I am unable to move away from the Alliance Map | POST HERE

@ubi-baron Hey. I just wanted to report another bug with this quest. My character(Eivor) literally gets stuck at the alliance map table when I start this quest after talking to Randvi. I can move the camera around, but not Eivor. World map is unavailable and you can't quick save. It's not possible to progress with the quest. I have also noticed the option to pledge is grey and not white like it should be when you wan't to pledge to an area. This happens on PC, don't know about consoles.

TU 1.1.1 has just been announced last night, and is due to launch today on January 14th! In this patch, we have implemented a fix for an issue whereby players would become stuck if pledging to Lincolnscire after returning from Vinland, and this should hopefully help those of you who have found that you are unable to move away from the Alliance Map after pledging.
If you attempted to pledge to Lincolnscire for the first or second time after returning from Vinland, please try again to pledge to Lincolnscire after the patch is deployed and verify whether you are able to move away from the Alliance Map. Hopefully you should all now be able to continue the pledge as normal, and start the arc!
If you find yourself still stuck, please share a video of this with us so that we can pass these onto the developers and continue the investigation. Thank you all for your patience with regard to this issue, and I hope that today's patch will see it fixed for you all! I will answer any further questions asked or concerns raised as quickly as I can.Official Response -
I cant start the quest 'a sword shower in anecastre'.
When I talk to Randvi at the alliance table I am stuck after they finished talking. Just can move the camera but not Eivor.

When i talk to randvi and select to pledge lincolnsire i get quest but cant move cant open map i cant do anything quest name "a sword-shower in anecastre" using ps4 console

Progress halting bug pledging Lincolnshire, specifically: the second time pledging Lincolnshire, having voted for Bishop Herefrith previously, the quest 'A Sword-Shower in Anecastre'.
After I choose to pledge the region with Randvi, the animation where the dagger is stabbed onto the map location 'skips' and the dagger just appears there. Afterwards, Eivor cannot move and pressing the menu button only bring up quit or options - however I can still eat rations and the camera still works.
The game does not save at this point, so restarting puts me to my previous save just before accepting the quest. Pledging other regions works fine.
Probably unrelated, but I noticed the first time this happened that I also couldn't speak to Reda. Fast traveling away and back fixed Reda, but the pledge bug has remained no matter what I try.
This is on PC.
Edit: Worth mentioning that the first time this pledge was offered, I declined and pledged Vinland instead. I attempted to pledge it as soon as I returned, which is when I encountered the bug. -

I can do certain actions like pulling the disguise and the fishing line up, but my character is uncontrollable otherwise. The movement keys do not work. It basically makes the game hard locked and nothing fixes it except quitting to the title screen. -

So from another user who mentioned this it seemed to be due to a cutscene not loading for them.
The first thing we'd advise, if you haven't already, is verifying your game files. This will check for missing or corrupt files and replace them. You can do this by clicking the menu under the game icon in the Games list.Official Response -
@ubi-baron I completed verifying my game files through ubisoft connect and the problem still persists. I have done other territories since this started happening hoping that maybe it resolved itself if I did that. It didn't.

I have the same issue and have tried everything I can think of. I can not progress any further without this being fixed.

After i have pleged to randvi and started the quest i cant move. I can still look around but eivor wont move when i try to make him. Cant accsess the world map either so fast travel is not an option. I have tried changing the graphics but nothing works. Please help me. Cant progress the story with this bug. Really anoying.

Yeah this sucks, i've just pledged all areas on the map. Now i can't pledge lincolnshire, because i'm stuck after talking to Randvi. =(

Having the same issue. The problem doesn't yet appear on their "reported issues" list, so hopefully this gets some visibility.

I've noticed a bug in this quest: "A sword shower in anecastre" After i speak to Randvi about pledging to Lincolnshire i can't move.
This is after i choose Bishop Hedefrith as an Ealdorman. -

Hey everyone! I recently saw a similar thread to this issue and am sorry that so many of you have not been able to proceed in 'A Sword-Shower in Anecastre.' Daddylow1991, you mentioned that pledging other regions works fine. Are you saying that if you pledge any other region, you are able to continue in the game with no issue?
Also, if not already tried, please verifying your game files and test your game again. Then if this persists, I would like to send some save files to the Game team. Please create a support ticket and submit your save files for the game. Afterwards, return here and provide your ticket number. Thanks! @ubikobold thanks for the response, yes pledging other zones hasn't been an issue. This error appeared part way through my play through and I've since pledged and completed every other zone on the map without a problem. Edit: To clarify, I've completed every available zone. I apparently cannot proceed to Hamptunscire and then Norway until this quest has been completed.
I tried verifying game files, and I also did a fresh install on a totally different PC and the problem persisted. I've tried playing with graphics settings, changing character gender, nothing seems to get me unstuck. Perks, Order, etc are viewable but the map is not so fast travel isn't an option, and using the quick save hotkey doesn't work either.
