Hi, i spent 102 hours and completed England Map, also got my gungnir, mjolnir and excalibur.. After I got my Thor Hammer and that's it, got nothing to do anymore..
Ac Valhalla is not like odyssey / origin, which we still have plenty of side quests to complete..

    Anyone got same feeling?

  • Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

@jacqueline_dzln Some of us have been saying exactly that roughly since release: it was obvious that Valhalla has no endgame what so ever.
Now they have plans: the river raids (whenever it will come live...) and other features of the same kind. What Valhalla needs is a quest board system like in Odyssey for those who want to continue playing it, cause as it is now, it's empty when the main story arc is played.

Many people complained about the mercenary system on Odyssey, but it still added an element of 'something to do' at end game. Plus, forts reset so you could always continue looting forts, which I personally enjoyed. Also, as previously mentioned, the bulletin board system added content endlessly. They really need to add New Game+ so people can replay the game with their hard earned equipment and skills, but being able to switch genders- just like Odyssey. I'm sure it's in the plans, I'm just glad I started Odyssey after the entire game was almost two years old so everything was added and the game was polished, I didn't need to wait around with nothing to do or wait for bugs to be fixed.

I'm in the same boat. I put over 1300 hours into Odyssey because there was so much to do in terms of base content and replayability, not to mention some modding. But overall, Valhalla definitely lacks any kind of replayability whatsoever. I've barely touched it since I beat it a few weeks ago and got the legendary stuff. Fishing is boring and the drop rates for hunting are terrible, so there's no point in doing those.

+1 for bringing elements from Odyssey back. I'd be happy with a mission board, new Zealots or high tier enemies coming in (that actively hunt you after you raid), replayable Fortress Sieges, etc.

The game is still basically brand new. For those that slam through it I would expect to wait for a while till more to do gets added.

Sounds like more is coming. I wouldn't expect to happen a month after release
