@khaos004 Hiya! Yeah, I saw that as soon as I applied the update! I was pretty stoked to finally be able to complete that challenge and wield that mighty swordfish!!!

Big flat fish and big mackerel are still too much rare.
I just spent literally the day, something like 7+ hours , and I found 3 big flat fish and only ONE big mackerel.
Definitely still bugged -

Just to confirm, are you looking in the recommended spots suggested by the development team? @Ubi-Woofer created a video which shows the best places to find these elusive fish. If you haven't already checked it out, you can watch it here:
If you're still having trouble finding these fish in these locations, would you be able to send us a video which shows that you aren't able to find big flatfish/mackerel in the specified locations? We can then pass this along to the development team for a closer look.

@ubi-borealis Yeah That's where I found my first big mackerel.
I spent again 2 or 3 hours today searching in that spot and searching for another spot.
I found another big mackerel here :
but only one again.
Edit : Ok I just restarted the game and found 2 big mackerel and 3 medium one quickly.
I think this spot is better than the previous one. -

I've spent hours of my day trying to locate a big mackerel, I shouldn't have to spend HOURS trying to find an IMAGINARY FISH in a game ABOUT ASSASSINS. for the love of God, HELP.

I'm sorry to hear that you've had trouble finding big mackerel. You can find the best locations for these fish in this thread. If you haven't already, I'd also recommend using @Ubi-Woofer's video guide, as she shows where you can find these mackerel in-game.
Several members of the community have shared their own top tips to finding large mackerel within this thread too, so I'd recommend taking a look. Personally, I found that docking my ship near the location of mackerel and fast travelling between one location in Norway and the ship helped to encourage the fish to spawn more frequently.
Let us know if you're still having trouble finding big mackerel, and we'll do our best to investigate the issue further.
