Assassin's creed Valhalla (PC) bugs for me at the quest "A brewing storm".
The game asks me to go to sleep, my screen turns black for a short while, no cutscenes are played.
Afterwards Dag just wanders around town being attacked by everyone. Keeps being revived and fighting again, this cycle is endless.
I have tried to restart the game, verify my gamefiles and return to a save file before the bug occurs. None of these solved my problems.
Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

Hello there,
As we have had no reports of this issue with "A Brewing Storm" persisting in game following the release of TU 1.3.1, we will now be locking this thread.
If you encounter any further trouble with "A Brewing Storm," please don't hesitate to create a new thread so we can investigate further.
Thanks!
Changing graphics settings from very high to medium or ultra high didn't solve the problem either.
Feel like a cutscene should be played after I go to sleep. The quest has no instructions at all and I can't interact with any npc in the game or fast travel.
I can not progress with the story of Ac Valhalla until this is resolved.........
I've replayed the Cent storyline entirely now and still unable to get the quest to work.
Also want to note the quest does not appear as a main quest and replaces the 'A brief history of the hidden ones' quest in which you need to collect 6 codex pages.
Hey folks,
I am sorry to hear that you are having problems with this quest.
Are you able to provide any videos demonstrating what happens in your game, so I can pass it onto the team?
@ubi-swaggins
I've already talked to Ubisoft support and submitted a video of the problem and system information.
They told me it was not necessary to post the video to the forum.
Since you're asking for the clip now though: (Apologies for the brightness, it's much brighter for me ingame. The sounds during the gameplay are from Ubisoft support chat)
I also have the same issue it sucks and hopefully it will be patched without me having to restart the whole damn game.
Playing on ps4 and I have the same problem, a youtuber played the same quest with no problems at all though
Having the same problem, restarting the Xbox and reinstalling the game have had no effect
My game has done a similar thing, played the cutscene then the game crashed (does this Alot) and when I reloaded the game dag is dead and everyone is standing in a circle around him, no mission markers anymore, no shops or npc are available to speak to and I can't continue at the alliance map, so the game is broken for me at this point can't continue past here and my only other save is in an early mission in cent so I'd have to redo pretty much all that area plus all the side stuff I'd lose
I'm having a similar issue for this mission on PS4. In the game I got out of bed and talked to Dag but the game crashed before I could complete the mission, now anytime I load the game Dag is still standing outside the longhouse but I can't talk to him and he wont say anything
I'm having the same issue along with corrupt saves. When I sleep, I get a black screen and I wake up and drag is hostile to the clan.
I have also found this problem in my game, and my friend has not, I think I have come get this as I have played the good guy role throughout the game and chosen all the good guy options during the quests, but I am not sure and this is the only reason I can think of. // no cutscene after sleeping and dag is hostile to the town outside //
