  • Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

@seanpotter12 Thank you for reporting this to us.

Have you checked a guide to make sure you have visited all of the locations and there aren't any that you might have missed?

@seanpotter12 most of them are in caves, these are NOT marked on the map, you can only uncover and find them by extensive exploration.

    Good luck!

@ubi-baron yes, I've looked through few different guides, and I suppose to have all 11 tablets, but still missing 2

@quinch1199 as I've said before, I found all 8 tablets which were in the caves and caverns, I think that the missing 2 were supposed to drop off the zealots

@quinch1199 I'm not the only one who's been experiencing this, I have a friend with the same problem, only that he is missing one tablet

Hello. I am the exact same. Completed all
the treasures of Britain. I’ve killed all the Zealots too. I am missing one tablet, so I am
    also unable to get Excalibur.

any updates on this as i have collected all 11 but i am missing one. I have 12 slots to fill not 11 like all the guides say. Really frustrating

I am having same issue and I am on a PC. I have all the cave tablets. I didn't get tablets from Zealots. I killed them all. I finished the whole game. I have no more Quests but for Yule Festival. I was able to get Thor's hammer. You have to kill the 3 witches and complete Thor's Armor set to be able to pick it up. You need Helmet, Cape, Bracers, Torso and Breeches. 5 out of 5. I just wish I could get Excalibur so I can dual weld with Thor's hammer. Just missing 3 tablets from the Zealots Woden, Heike and Hrothgar. With no more Quest's I have no one left to kill anyways.

@bbear360 you should only need 11. One of the 12 slots was already filled for me. I got the sword, though not the achievement (it's been days since I pulled it and use the sword a lot).

Hey folks! Sorry to hear that you have been experiencing this issue.

I have reported this to the development team, please be aware that this could be a case of continuing to search for the tablets, however, they will check if there is an issue with the tablets appearing. Once additional information becomes available, it will be posted to the game's official forums here.

If you're on PS4 or PC, we would appreciate if you could also forward us your save files. You can find further details on this via the link below:

We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your patience and understanding while we work on this.

    Thank you.

@ubi-viral does that report include the issue of the achievement not popping as well? It's been days since I pulled Excalibur. I use it regularly and other achievements have popped since then, so I don't think this is an XBL issue.

@clubstew Can you provide the name of the challenge and I will see if we are aware of an issue with it already. Thank you.

@ubi-viral it's the "Caladfwlch" achievement on Xbox for Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.

Nit: Excalibur was also called Caladfwlch, with an "e". The achievement is misspelled, though in-game text is correct.

@pallando1970 I am missing 1 tablet as well, however I am counting 12 slots for placing tablets instead of 11. Do you have 12 slots or 11?

  • ClubStew

@dubdex420 1 of the 12 was already filled. All guides said there was 11 tablets (I had trouble finding one of the caves). When I was going through, I pressed Y to interact and Eivor said something to the effect, "Hmm. One was already there." Nothing else happened, then. I skipped that one (nothing else I could do) and proceeded to fill the others. Pulled the sword from the stone and used it for hours of the game. It's been over a week and no achievement, though I've gotten many other achievements since (including pulling Thor's hammer).
