HDR not working correctly in-game

When setting the HDR up in the main menu of the game, the reference image looks correct and sets up properly. However, once loading into the actual game, everything appears kinda washed out and strange. If you look at the HDR reference image once in-game, it no longer looks accurate. HDR in-game doesn't seem to be working correctly.
This image shows the HDR working correctly in the main menu (top) and how it looks when in-game (bottom). You can see that it gets washed out and overexposed.

Could you provide us with some screenshots and video from the game itself as well? Are you able to adjust the setting to make it appear better in-game?Official Response -

Here's two screenshots I took in an underground interior. The first one is with HDR disabled, you can see that the blacks are much darker and the light around the fire is much brighter and more saturated. The second picture is with HDR enabled and it shows a more washed out image except for the flame itself which is bright.

@ubi-baron Forgot to answer your question, changing the HDR settings in-game does not fix the issue. They only seem to work correctly on the main menu of the game. As you can see in the main post, the settings are the same but the previews show very different results.
