During the first mission on PS5 (though I hear this glitch is happening on PS4 as well) in the game I shot my first enemy with bow and it popped 2 trophies "Calling in a Favor" and "Is there anybody out there?" Though only Calling in a Favor is showing in my actual trophy list as having been completed. Very odd that this would happen in the first few minutes of the game, and I'm worried progression for trophies is broken as a result.

  • Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

    Hello there,

As we have had no reports of this issue with these trophies persisting in game following the release of TU 1.1.1, we will now be locking this thread.

If you encounter any further trouble with unlocking trophies, please don't hesitate to create a new thread so we can investigate further.

    Thanks! 😊

I’m 4 hours in. Still in Norway and I was visiting a town (Stavanger). I was walking through a giant gate and 2 guards where walking by. I shot one of the guards and the following trophies popped:

    • Calling in a favor
    • Is there anybody out there

2 trophies that have nothing to do with what I did and even can’t be done in Norway?

It happened before I went to my hometown Fornburg (story). And I was on the latest patch 1.04.

@hyreduki This game reminds me of Generation Zero in the amount of bugs, and even seem to pile up with new patches, and now as you stated some trophies even pops up unrelated to what you do....GZ all over 🙄 Hope they get their act together and release a new patch soon which fixes problems and not create new ones....

Hey guys, just bought AC Valhalla for ps4, the game was delivered today and I played it for a couple hours. But after I killed the first enemy, I earned 2 trophies ("Calling in a favor" and "Is there anybody out there") that I think they are related to future moments of the game. If it helps to fix, I choosed the male Eivor, playing in the PS4 "fat" and in the 1.04 update (Brazilian PSN).

I'm brazilian, so sorry for my bad english 😅

Ok, so this happened a few days ago, nothing major but super strange. I was playing the very beginning of the game after choosing my gender, first playthrough ever, no trophies earned yet obviously. I encountered my first enemy in the snowy wilderness and proceeded to sneak up on him. I hit him in the back with a heavy attack and as I'm swinging a second time I earned the trophy called: Is There Anybody Out There?. Which I found out is a trophy earned on Hadrian's Wall much later in the game. No gameplay interruptions or anything, just a trophy earned like any other, but I obviously didn't 'earn' it. Very strange happening and I'm curious if this has happened to other players, I Google searched to no avail. I appreciate any feedback, thank you.

P.S. I have pics of my screenshot showing I still have the trophy, but it says the file is too large to share.

Looks like "is there anybody out there?" Did sync in after a system restart. I have started a brand new game hoping that progression on certain trophies isn't messed up now.

    Hello all,

Just after completing the first synchronisation point at the beginning of the game I received the ‘Calling in a Favor’ and ‘Is There Anybody Out There?’ trophies on PS5 despite not evening reaching a stage of the game where I would be eligible for this trophy.

I appreciate that now that I’ve got these trophies it can’t be changed, but this is just a bug report so that future players can earn these trophies at the appropriate stage of the game.

    Many Thanks

I have just started to play and got to my first sync point and it gave me two trophies, the “ is there anybody out there ? ) and ( calling in a favor)

this sucks because I like to go for trophy’s. I can’t seem to back so I don’t have them since it’s on PlayStation and not the game.

@kolcdun Hey there! I appreciate you sharing this error you encountered with these two trophies unlocking under the wrong circumstances, and am happy to let you know that this should be fixed in a future update! For specifics, please continue checking the game's official website.

    Hey everyone,

Thanks for reaching out to us to report this issue with the "Calling in a Favor" and "Is there anybody out there?" trophies on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5! As a trophy hunter myself I can totally appreciate why this may be frustrating and inconvenient, so I'll do my best to get this looked into if it is still occurring following the 1.1.0 update, as the issue was meant to be fixed by that patch.

I've seen it mentioned that these trophies unlocked when killing an enemy, or when synchronising the first viewpoint in Norway - are there any other scenarios that any of you experienced that caused this to happen? Would you be able to provide the trophy screenshots (if you have your system set to automatically capture them) so that we can compare circumstances and try to work out the root of the issue?

Thanks for your help and cooperation, it's much appreciated 🙂

    @ubi-woofer

Hi, do you know if this bug has been fixed? The same issue happened to me by killing the first enemy that is encountered during the prologue (ps4). I haven't started a new playthrough and I am concerned, due to reports of similar issues, about broken progression when I reach the point in the story that is connected to one of the trophies that pop prematurely.

    Thanks in advance.

    Hello!

Although I've not unlocked it early, I simply cannot unlock it all. I've tried to light all the braziers about 10 times now, still no trophy.

    Anybody else having issues?

    Thanks!

@Caustic_Q - Please accept my apologies for the delayed response! Having checked in on this issue, it was marked as resolved by TU 1.1.1 and hasn't been reopened since, meaning that it should be fully fixed. 🙂 You shouldn't find that your progress is in any way impacted by the trophies you do or do not receive, as these are externally handled by PlayStation and do not link to the game itself in any other way than to mark your progression. Let me know if you've encountered any further issues since!

@dutton93 - Apologies for the delayed reply! Are you still unable to unlock "Is There Anybody Out There?" at present, or were you able to unlock it since the time of your reply? Are you sure that you have lit the correct braziers if so, which are located to the right of the synchronisation point at the highest point of Euvicscire on Hadrian's Wall? 🙂

hi everyone! I completed the entire game, but never received the “Calling a Favour” trophy. Its the only one im missing! I restarted the game to check if they would give it to me during the prologue but nothing happened.

How can I solve this? Am I suppose to restart the game and play it all again until completing the Suthsexe Arc? Quite a few hours.. and nothing assures me it will unlock the trophy. Help please!

    Regards.

Hello there @Singuel! Welcome to the forums 🙂

I'm sorry to hear that "Calling in a Favour" hasn't triggered for you. Have you been able to try completing some alternative quests to see if this causes the trophy to unlock? Some players have reported that completing settlement quests, such as Petra's archery challenge, triggered missing trophies to unlock for them.

If you're still unable to unlock the achievement following this, would you be able to let us know the following:

    • Which platform do you use (PS4/PS5)? Can you let us know the username you use on this platform?
    • If you play on PS5, have you unlocked the trophy on PS4 previously?
    • Can you send us some images that shows your completed quest log (and that "Reporting on Suthsexe" has been completed), and that your trophy is still locked?

    Thanks! 😊
